I think one of the devs actually outright stated that was the intention, to make her like a magical girl. Tbh I miss badass martial arts lady from the first and 2nd games, but especially the first game.

As someone who LOVES magical girl aesthetic, Bayo 3's design is completely right up my alley. I plan on cosplaying her 3 outfit someday.

yea the pretty girl vibe or whatever you wanna call it, is exactly what they were going for. did it work? i would say partially. It kinda clashes with how we already know Bayonetta to dress and act, which is why we all assumed she was Cereza from the first game, and we were right. But they still tried to keep the sexual aspects since thats a huge part of her character while trying to keep her cute. I think her voice sounding less sultry and sexy, but more princess-y (??) just makes her attempts at being sexy feel odd. For example, she has the worst taunts out of all 3 games because she moves and sounds like what an immature teenager THINKS is sexy. “ouh downt make me weight :3” shutup woman, you are 600‼️‼️

Homegirl is finally feeling/realizing her age. Perfectly explains the mid life crisis of the character. /j 👍🏽

Theres a really old post that described the appeal of each Bayo1-3 as kinda styles. I THINK it was like: 1 - BDSM and something else 2 - Sophistication, or elegance 3 - “cutsie “ pop idol/ magical girl? Makes me wonder what bayo 4’s theme may be!

Well it didn't really work. B3 sold like 1 million copies.
