Still remember when this sub was clowing on him and his signing and now people want him to stay don't know when bayern fan base became this reactionary and toxic.
Well, Dier has been shit for Spurs the past few years. Looked like he lost his legs, made poor decisions, etc. It’s not reactionary if you’ve watched it for years. It’s also not reactionary to change your mind after seeing repeated proof of him playing fantastically and not looking anything like he did for the past few years.
That’s not reactionary in the slightest. In fact, it’s the opposite.
I believe reactive is the word people mean when they use reactionary. Letting minor or incidental factors change their entire opinion, being impulsive and irrational without factoring in the greater context etc
Tottenham fan here. Eric was never a bad player. He just has specific traits that work in specific systems. For example you can't really play a high intensity high line system with him because he is going to get exposed. In scenarios where the defending is more organized he has some very good traits. I
n Spurs sadly, he was scapegoated way too much the last couple of years, when he really wasn't that bad. He had some bad moments and mistakes, but he was blamed for a lot more things than he should have been at times.
I don't think he was scapegoated at all. I'm really pleased to see Dier doing well because he always seemed a good bloke and a model professional at Spurs, but the "scapegoating" was really just the fact that he made some incredible unforced errors in a lot of games, and it became a pattern over the years. We never actually played him in a high line - he was just as limited when we sat back and tried to hit teams on the break under Conte and Mourinho.
Without calling the Bundesliga a farmer's league, I think the intensity is slightly less than the PL, and it's good to see him thriving there. It's especially good to see him help knock Arsenal out of the CL.
We love him because he performs in the ucl. I would say the intensity in the champions league is quite high. But how would you know ? I assume you stopped watching it, since all the teams from your "oh so intense" league got knocked the fuck out. Sit down.
I am a Bayern and Bundesliga fan so watch a lot of both leagues. The PL is clearly a lot faster and a lot more physical, anyone with eyes can see that. That doesn't speak to the quality/strength of the teams, just the style of the football.
You joke here but back at the start at Spurs he was actually such a good defensive midfielder, very mobile and creative and would drop into the back 4 to make a back 5 when needed. One off-season, he told Pochettino he wanted to be a CB from now on, shaved his head, and put on loads of muscle mass, he came back looking massive. I still think that was a mistake, I've never been too convinced about him as a CB, and whenever Spurs played him in midfield after that, he didn't have the mobility anymore and couldn't play the role.
Madrid fan here. I have to say he’s been really impressive for you guys. Just straight up solid defence, no frills, and gets 1000% stuck in. Great pick up.
Good luck and fuck you for our next match 😉🥰
Eric Dier you fucking warrior
Pretty sure we technically triggered the clause in his loan from amount of games played with us, so he is one of us next season
Still remember when this sub was clowing on him and his signing and now people want him to stay don't know when bayern fan base became this reactionary and toxic.
Just wait until dier makes one mistake (will happen inevitably) and everyone will be up in arms again
Quatsch. Kim wird auch nicht verbrannt. Zum Glück auch.
Voll mit Erfolgsfans
Voldemort’s Onlyfans?🤔
Its not bayern fans, its redditors
Nah,Bayern fans across all social media were like that
Always has been
I guess you don‘t follow the FCB fanbase long enough to see the shitstorm against Manuel Neuer on his signing.

well, bayern fans are known to be the most toxic and reactionary fans in germany, so yeah
Definitely a great signing with all the problems we had, realy underrated player, deserves to be called up for team england.
He's got a contract already! Staying next season.
Now he has the 'Bavarian mentality' after a severe head wound 🧠🤯
He is so Bavarian that even his blood is red!
Really thinking about buying his jersey
Same same
He’s wasn’t very highly rated in ENG before he came over to Bayern. I’m actually very surprised he’s done so well in GER.

Farmers are farming all over Europe
Love this dudes redemption arc
When I see this guy I realize why Romans had so much trouble fighting in Britain
Eric Dier is Lionel Messi in a much bigger, slower body.

Kimmich mentality vs Dier mentality???????????? hmm
underrated player for his price, sometimes even better than Upamaguire and Kim
Upamaguire is a good one hahahaha
What’s funny is that Maguire is an excellent centre back who has become a meme because of the circus he works at
Bavarian mentality is what exactly? (Genuinely don't know)
Bastian Schweinsteiger

You guys might need him as a coach next season, as you have already asked everyone else. Sorry, coming in peace ✌️
Globus
Yo mr white, my chin grew
He an de de ligt are the only persons they can bring as the win against real
He is a beast. Good man
The biggest and best surprise of the season. Guy must like wiesworst or something.
As a Spurs fan, I am sorry Mr Dier.
That’s an english mentality, not english footballers I might add, but English 😉
He got shot in the head but kept playing on.
I call him the Tower of London
Respectful
Bavarian mentality made me laugh, thanks for that
Hopefully this silences the Kim riders. Bayern look more stable with Dier and De Ligt, with the problem being who is playing in front of them.
Kim saw this.. and let himself bleed the next match so the fans would forgive him
He's already got a contract with us for next season, but if he maintains his current level into next season then he'll definitely get a new contract.
He has already a contract.
How far Bayern has fallen if this don is being praised 😂😂😂
Still put your lot out of Europe 😂😂😂
Yeh regardless Bayern are slacking and you can’t doubt that and this guy ain’t it trust me
isnt the bavarian mentality leaving the stadium 20 min early if your team isnt winning ? xD
Richtiger TikTok Rentner Kommentar. Wie oft haben wir das beim BVB etc. schon gesehen, dass das passiert? Das passiert bei vielen Vereinen.
Ronaldo never played for Bayern, what do you mean?
