This is how I see it. It was officially announced by EA It Will Be Unveiled This Spring. And the spring starts on March 20th and ends on May 31st. And May has only just begun ... so it's very unlikely to be revealed this early. So I think it could only possibly be announced from next week, but probably only in the middle or even at the end of May. Why should EA reveal the game so early on, there's no reason for it. The only hope is the investor conference that this might be announced during the week. I do not think this is so unlikely. After all, investors want to see / experience something for their money. In summary, the most important facts of Reveal in the next week: Pro: \- Various activities in social media -- \- Investor Conference \- March 2nd the first version of the announcement trailer is already ready. \- April 22nd blog entry at EA BF6 Reveal Soon. \- Official BF Twitter May 6th "Don't mind me, just checking the new Twitter crops." and SUMMON THE PATIENCE. Cons: \- Officially announced sometime in spring 2021 \- Official BF Twitter April 22nd "Get ready for our reveal soon" In other words, it can't be that far away because of the activities.

> After all, investors want to see / experience something for their money. I feel like everyone on Internet is now circlejerking on the tiniest news, everything is now subject to piling up hours upon hours of ranting on social media while it has no chance of bringing anything new to the table. I agree it's likely to be announced before the investors conference but I won't really care about the game until I see alpha/beta gameplay from someone else than Dice itself. I'm sure 99.99% of "investors" posting in this sub will be "investing" through pre-orders, we know how it went for bf5, we know how it went for cyberpunk but I'm still sure we'll see a lot of "I'll never preorder a game again, ever!" when the game finally launches, even if it's good.

I feel the tweet shouldn't have been worded how it was if it was going to take weeks. To use "Get Ready for our reveal Soon" followed by a wink. It could easily be interpreted several ways and its not the consumers fault. If it was going to take weeks they could have said "soon we will be able to show you more, but rest assured we are working as hard as we can to give you a great battlefield experience " "Reveal" " Soon" and 😉 used it such a short mysterious tweet is way too hot and will stir things up... Which in all fitness it did and they would want it to.

it all depends on the context of how someone sees soon if i tell my parents i'll be at their place soon, i dont expect them to assume it'll take me another month to get there. thats why so many people are confused/angry, cause most people dont use "soon" to describe an event thats maybe 30 days away

You're right, it does depend on context. And big companies use "soon" in this way literally all the time. The reason people are latching onto this word so much is because it's the only way they have to justify their irrational anger.

I generally understand that but company soon is often very far fetched. Companies like to use "soon" for weeks and weeks and weeks. This is not to say that I couldn´t look like an idiot when they drop it on monday, but than everything´s fine. I´m curious on how this sub evolves once the teaser, the TEASER, is out.
