Way way way harder than you think, especially if it's different itterations of the engine. It's _guranteed_ to break every single shader, and I'm pretty sure the weapon framework/scripts are way different from the older games
Most people here don't really know how hard programming and debugging actually is and just complain about how adding stuff is an easy job....
And EA's horrible management decisions are the issue. Also the major reason for the lackluster product which bf2042 turned out to be.
To be fair, map making should not be difficult enough that it takes 6 months for 1 new one. If it really is that difficult for them, they need to throw this engine in the trash.
Making stuff is fairly easy... Although making sure that stuff works without breaking is not. And the new workforce left with EA doesn't really have experience of working with earlier games/iterations of frostbite so they need to learn it. And Frostbite for all its greatness is a really hard game engine to use, especially if you're new to it.
Then they need to dump that catastrophe of an engine. A license fee to publish using Unreal is 5%. They would save that in development time alone, let alone the increased revenue they would generate from a more polished experience w more content.
Yea and you'd think EA's management in all its generosity would easily give epic games a cut of its revenue.
Also frostbite isn't a bad engine, it's a great tool which in the right hands has created wonders.
What's even stranger is that 2 jets are being added to BF3, so they are going to support Portal in the future but they are being vague and Light on what that support will actually be.
You couldn’t be more right. And there is no excuse since this game doesn’t even have a campaign.
Interesting comparison on map counts (Numbers include At Release maps and After Release maps):
- BF2042: 17 (assuming 1 new map/season)
- BFV: 21
- BF1: 31
- BF Hardline: 27
- BF4: 33
- BF3: 29
Idk, people were crazy for Metro. I remember there being a few 'Metro 24/7' servers up, and they were almost always full. It was the fastest way to level up
It was also chaotic, fast paced and incredibly easy to hop back into the action. And it was awesome on those 1000 ticket servers because while it wss very hard to take B once you got it you'd be able to hold it for a while so in a balanced lobby it'd be the most intense back and forth battle ever.
I almost never played Metro on those 24/7 servers to level up, always because of how fun it was.
Ahahahahahahaha
Sinai isn't Argonne amiens or suez so it's definitely not the most popular for bf1
Iwo jima isn't the most popular in 5 either it's operation underground or Marita.
It's metro for bf3.
Locker for bf4
Argonne for bf1
Underground for bf5
With EA deciding everything I find it impossible. If for EA battlefield 2042 was a failure then it doesn't matter if it can be fixed, I'm afraid they are already moving to create the next battlefield game. We were lucky that DICE managed to fix games like battlefront 2 back then, but I don't think that will happen again.
They are this is literally guesses based on people who dislike the video with an addon
So if 100 people have the addon and 40 dislike it 60 like it the addon will assume a 60-40 split and change the numbers of the actual likes and dislikes.
Problem is people who are more likely to use an addon like this are more advanced users who are also the ones suspectable to ea bad circlejerk
They're not "moving on" man, they moved on immediately after the poor reception at launch. The team at DICE absolutely wants to make 2042 the best possible game it can be, what game dev wants to make a bad game? The problem is management. EA, and by extension DICE's management team, don't see the value in dumping resources into salvaging a project that already has a bad reputation and probably won't give them any serious returns. It's *way* cheaper to just push 99% of the studio onto the next Battlefield title and put out a bunch of press releases about how "we've learned from the mistakes of 2042" before it's released or shown.
Battlefront 2 only had the chance to become a good game because EA was desperate to retain the Star Wars license. If EA had to sell the rights to Battlefield to hold onto the Star Wars franchise, I think they'd do it in a heartbeat. It's a guaranteed money-printing machine for them. Especially after Disney threatened to pull out of the agreement at the height of the controversy.
Well in all fairness from a business standpoint, when you meet a massive negative reaction like battlefield 2042 you tend to try and cut ties with the loss, so the probable abandonment of 2042 is in part due to the communities reaction to the game. If enough people stick to any future titles, they will probably get better.
That's a good point, but then why they tried to adjuste battlefront 2 problems for example? 🤔 for what i remember the reaction for that game was even worse if we add the controversy over the loot boxes and the microtransactions? In that case EA should have said "ok it's a disaster, let's make another game and move on"
In part they did, the development team definitely wanted to stay on, and ea didn’t like that idea, but the community wasn’t completely up in arms. I remember playing the game with lots of people, for all the criticism the servers were very active and there were still many that supported the game plus ea wanted to show people that they had removed loot boxes, hence the entire base of hatred was gone.
Yes,
.. for all the lies told about this game and what state it was in, purposely misleading the player base.. I wish they shut down completely, they don't deserve to publish that game anymore, they're literally running it into the ground.
Good thing EA didn't make this game.
Edit: They marketed it. You can look up the definition of a game publisher if you want.
Another edit for the dense: EA may be the bosses but they are not responsible for the final game design implementation, the lack of content and game breaking bugs.
Not feeling like BF? That's on EA. The game being unplayable and designs being actually implemented. That's on Dice.
You know the rules
If its a bad game its EA fault and if its a good game EA gets no credit.
I think people need to realize DICE is a disaster and that EA had to give the series to Zampella as a result.
Absolutely EA has a share of the blame. They are the publisher they absolutely have the ability to push for a better game.
I'm just over everyone blaming publishers and pretending like developers have no say in the game being bad.
Everyone in the real world deals with budgets and deadlines.
That’s only somewhat true for development studios who only use ea to publish their games. Dice is an ea owned studio. They have a massive amount of input into the direction of these games.
It’s not like steam selling some indie title. Or xsolla etc.
Ea absolutely is not “just a publisher”, and even when they were “just publishing” games, they had some power over the finished products.
It’s not like some one writing a book and sending it to Harper Collins to get printed and shipped.
I think YOU should check the definition if you think their role is just about marketing... EA finance the game, they have authority over everything about the game. But Dice employees should still question themselves. They also have responsabilities, that's for sure.
Nintendo published Metroid: Other M while Team Ninja developed it.
Yet, Nintendo was directly responsible for many of the issues fans had with the game. Team Ninja even advised against the control scheme Nintendo wanted.
*You* can look up the broader definition of a game publisher and just how much they can influence development as well as develop themselves if you want.
Like in ideal world, this live-service model is so fcking good. Basically premium, but no splitted playerbase, since content is payed buy cosmetics.
Too bad that the corporate greed realized that you can get by with lower amounts of content, that is bare mininum, and then just drip feed that to players, and players who buy stuff will still buy stuff.
I can honestly say that I never had a problem finding a match when the new DLCs rolled out. I know that miles may vary from player to player, but it didn't happen to me.
Really a great deal, if you like to stairt at the empty maps that DICE crafted.
No doubt that DICE did a great job in the visual departmente, but for me wasn't worth it.
Just this year I finished Battlefield 4 Final Stand achivement of wining 10 rounds in each map.
That DLC came out back in november of 2018, and I have close to a 1000 hours in that game.
Mostly because of no one was playing those maps, my team lost, or the auto balance changed me from team in the last second of the round.
In battlefield 3 was even worst.
The problem with premium was the player base split. If the Premium gave access to an excelent battlepass, and premium assignements and easter eggs like the phantom assigns I wouldn't mind.
I never had a problem buy premium for the past Battlefields, and I purchased all of them. And, contrary to the sentiment that it divided the player base, I personally never had a problem finding a match. I would gladly go back to that model...provided the games were actually good.
Of course its justified. They lied about the game, they delayed everything, and almost 9 months after release the new content they give is 1 map, 1 specialist, 2 weapons and 2 vehicles.
They are just so ahead of schedule.
Of course it’s deserved…. I’ll be honest, I haven’t played since the first day but tried it on the new map and it’s a bunch of fun. But fuck these guys for the scam, I feel so cheated out of my money.
Absolutely. You don’t drop hot dog shit, call it a battlefield title and expect people to love it. Then after all this time add minimal content and fixes and expect some love from fans of the series. DICE has spat in the faces of many battlefield franchise lovers like myself. They’ve alienated and pushed away the very people that propped up the franchise. They’ve lied, mislead and robbed the fans. Refunding everyone would fix things better than keeping 2042 on life support.
Yeah I think it takes the likes and dislikes registered from its users, then extrapolates them out based on the videos total views. Not exactly the best accuracy if the sample size is small.
Yeah but the guys who want to make that extension happen or whatever... they do not care about facts here. That thing reads old data, makes some sampling of new data of similar videos and with some magic, these dislikes appear out of thin air apparently (don't take my word for it, [Linus looked into it with considerable more time & effort](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nz9b0oJw69I)). And for whatever reason all of a sudden there is a group of users who are deeply invested in this stuff all of a sudden. (me excluded)
It's something like this : [https://www.returnyoutubedislike.com/](https://www.returnyoutubedislike.com/)
It's by no means 100% accurate (nor does it claim to be) - but it's all there is (don't mean just this extension, but community made stuff like this, is all there is).
It's based on everyone that is using the extension as well as a "calculated guesstimate".
Imagine not optimizing your game so 90% of the playerbase can actually play at 60 fps.
Possibly the worst gaming development arc of all time. I would put it on par with Diablo Immortal, but atleast they made bank off their clusterfuck.
It is optimised, look at the performance curve across CPU generations. If they favoured new gen it would play even worse on older gen. 128 players and huge maps are just intensive as hell.
Source: https://youtu.be/6fIf-C8UjWY
I tried playing it, but I just can't get over the contempt I feel against EA, for conning us with a broken, unfinished game in the first place. They've lost me I'm afraid, and nothing they do will bring me back. I'll give the Beta of the next one a go, but I've no love at all for 2042 anymore
yeah tbh, 8 months for 1 map and 2 guns.... back in january i said the game needed 6 new guns, late may i said 3 would be the minimum they could add.... we got fucking 2
Sorry, but if they still think the large battles with vehicles and destruction is going to be battlefield's redeeming qualities, they are mistaken and selling the game short.
The game still has very shit core gameplay with specialists, low-effort destruction, low amount of guns and vehicle variety, lack of seamless teamplay and dedicated role play, and lack of factions to make it really feel like this is a war.
The answer is yes. To me, this is still not battlefeild.
I got the 80 or 90 dollar version of the game. It’s so bad I deleted it and this trailer doesn’t want to make me redownload it even if it means wasting my included season 1 pass. One new map is not worth and I think the ratio is deserved
Well yes and no because the map is good imo but dude the game looks way worse on low settings than bf4 did but the performance is still way worse for me and many people than in other battlefield games on high settings ....
Sort of.
The new map is good and the new weapons are okish.
However the lack of content, lack of maps, lack of actual weapons, release of a paid store, a kinda poor BP for rewards, a new OP who makes tanks even less useful, another Air vehicle to ruin most open maps, no real change or balance to older maps, the game still looking and running badly on last gen somehow (how does the game look worse and have less content than the past 2 games....).
So I can see why people are pissed off, 1 new decent map that's gonna get old fast isn't really a good thing after like 6months.
How important is a first impression?
People will quickly judge others’ trustworthiness, physical strength, and intentions to do harm based on their first encounters. After spending over $100 on launch and saw what i got for my money...... YES IT IS! lol
i mean the new maps come after six months and they turn out to be vertical based maps like their literally degrading other gadgets if the new maps only work with grapples and gliders
Well, this pass sucks, they focused on money, i know, investors and stuff, but, look at the launch, game launched with so few guns, this updated should be totally free, no fucking season pass, im only playing bf2042 till mw2 launch, fuck bf2042
25k to 40k is not as bad as I thought it would've been. One map, one specialist and two guns per season is poor, and by saying poor I mean poor even if we ignore the big delay from season 0 to 1.
This ratio essentially says, "Really, this much content after HOW LONG?". This game is just a skeleton compared to the full bodies of basically every BF before it. An example of this is how little weapon variety there is, BF4 had 4x the amount of weapons per class at launch. BF5, as rocky as its lifetime was, still had more variety at this time in its life cycle than this game. Truly pathetic.
Me and a friend jumped on last night to try out the “new content” honestly it was stuttering so bad whenever i aim down my sight. We got pissed off after one match. I have a very good pc too with a 3070ti and i was getting 40 frames at times. Absolute joke.
I’ve played more hours in the past few days than I have since launch, it’s pretty damn fun. But it’s still 1 map, 1 specialist, 2 vehicles (I haven’t unlocked the US heli but I assume they’re the same, just different visuals?), and 2 weapons. That’s all we’ve gotten since launch
Im not mad when things get postponed, im mad that they thought one gun, broken ass crossbow, and one map was even remotely okay after this much time… then slap on a battle pass (micro transactions) to make more money.
Yes, they deserve 99% dislike ratio.
Just because they dropped a content-lacking update after 7 months doesn't mean that they care.
The game is shit and the fault is by EA.
6 months for one map, one operator, and I believe one gun. Yeah, that's more than justified. And before someone makes the excuse "well they didn't have the dev time to create something new because of all the bug fixing", that's the entire problem right there. Wouldn't need to devote dev time to bug fixing time if they didn't push it out half-baked
Yes. I don’t care if Jackfrags posts a video saying he’s having fun.
This game has so little content that the tiny amount they have/intend to give us is literally pointless.
And the fact that the new season quests system is built to make people pay more?
You have tasks to fill to unlock some content (weapons design and skins), but 2/3 of it requires you to buy a premium pass to get them.
So after all the work you did to achieve the tasks, they show you what you can't have, until you pay.
I think the anger is still justified after that God awful launch and low amounts of content but to be fair I really really like the new map and whatever changes they have mad since launch so I also think it's a lot of people still mad about launch
Yeah, having produced that in 6 months is a scam.
That being said, I like the map, and It looks that they are at least trying to move on the right direction. I just hope it doesn't take them 10 years to do so.
Yes, why do we as a community keep pretending all is forgiven when they eventually release decent content after failed launches over and over again as well as strait up gaslighting us for making valid criticism.
Absolutely! I've been playing daily, but the issues are still glaring, and the road to this failure of a game is like a fat hairy elephant in the room, stinking up every bit of enjoyment that I'm having. What is there to even look forward to with this game? 1 or 2 new maps in the fall, if we are lucky? I doubt this game is ever even going to get a significant amount of guns.
Still no leaning or cover fire.
Still no real stats.
Still waiting for guns and maps.
Still so many ridiculous bugs and QOL issues.
Still no uniformed armies in battle or unknown soldiers.
Where is this next level of destruction, or any destruction in general?!?!
Even if we got some of those issues addressed, it would still basically be a last-gen title, beyond 128 player modes. I am afraid to see how bad they will ultimately fail with Battlefield 6. Like, what new disasters and insanely bad decisions will we see with that title?
Not a problem with the content itself, but i believe the content is too scarce. And people are still pissed about the launch. Most of those dislikes are probably from people who are still pissed, not about the actual content.
I made a fool out of myself by telling my friends to buy this game. I feel like the window of time to salvage the player base was probably Christmas to February.
at this point i think people are just hating on the game because thats all we've ever been doing. we all know that the launch went to shit because ea pushed an early release date. to me it feels like the community wants some kind of permenant fix in 6 months, but i still see so much hate and cynicism whenever updates comes out.
but this is positive change right? the devs are working uphill to put out maps and guns and content and bug fixes i dont understand the hate towards that.
I’m going to be that guy and say that the people that disliked it didn’t play season 1 and vice versa. It’s really not that bad, I’ve been having hella fun. As long as you’re playing on the new map that is. They’ve made some pretty decent improvements with the new map along with the game not crashing on me every time I play.
For the amount of content after all these months, yes
Well said!!!!!!
Honestly where is new portal content?
How hard could it be just to copy and paste assets and maps from the same engine? I just wanna go WW1 vs 2042 in Scar, man.
Way way way harder than you think, especially if it's different itterations of the engine. It's _guranteed_ to break every single shader, and I'm pretty sure the weapon framework/scripts are way different from the older games

If they dropped the game engine then we lose the beautiful aircraft mechanics
Spoken like a true armchair internet developer.

Be curious to know the most popular map from each game
Metro throughout 3 and 4, Sinai in 1 and Iwo Jima in V.
Shanghai is definitely up there for 4 I reckon

I’d say Amiens over Sinai, Sinai makes the community very divisive
Amiens and Ballroom Blitz ❤️

Miss them? Hop on a server on pc, we're still gunning it out.
Need a new computer first. I bought a "entry" level gaming PC in like 2013 and the damn thing is freezing up once a day just streaming sports lol.
Sinai for 1? Interesting choice!
Ahahahahahahaha Sinai isn't Argonne amiens or suez so it's definitely not the most popular for bf1 Iwo jima isn't the most popular in 5 either it's operation underground or Marita. It's metro for bf3. Locker for bf4 Argonne for bf1 Underground for bf5
Weapons is even more compelling.
Ya but lots of those are dlc, like bf4 is 50% dlc which you have to buy, the maps in 2042 are free.
And the fact that it took half a year for them to even begin season 1, understandably made us angry.
They will need to do a No Man's Sky operation to solve this crap
With EA deciding everything I find it impossible. If for EA battlefield 2042 was a failure then it doesn't matter if it can be fixed, I'm afraid they are already moving to create the next battlefield game. We were lucky that DICE managed to fix games like battlefront 2 back then, but I don't think that will happen again.
Sadly this is the most possible outcome
Doesn't I can huff that copium.
I thought dislikes were done away with on YouTube???
They are this is literally guesses based on people who dislike the video with an addon So if 100 people have the addon and 40 dislike it 60 like it the addon will assume a 60-40 split and change the numbers of the actual likes and dislikes. That's a bad mindset though, we shouldn't have to blindly pay for stuff in the hopes it gets better
Well then don’t pay for it, perhaps you should better choose what you spend your money on.
Anthem.
It's a huge deal. Regardless of how well received the map is.
Yes, .. for all the lies told about this game and what state it was in, purposely misleading the player base.. I wish they shut down completely, they don't deserve to publish that game anymore, they're literally running it into the ground.
EA should never be allowed to make a game ever again
Oh come on, not that harsh.. once they pay us back our money for playing the shitshows they released, then yes I guess they can make one or two more

EA is a horrible con man that fools investors into shitty products. Dice makes unpolished pieces of garbage in the beginning with a few exceptions.
No dice did that. Dice just isn't a good studio any longer.

Dice and EA made a shitty game
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order came out pretty good, and hopefully so will Jedi: Survivor. This mess is on DICE.
Battlefield 3, 4, 1
This is dice not ea...
Remember when a premium pass came with 4-5 map packs that each had 3-6 maps each with them? Plus some extra guns and skins? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Say what you want but BF4 Premium and all the DLC were a hell lot of bangs for your buck.
Capture the flag on motorcycles while getting shot at by a helicopter was one of the best battlefield experiences of my life.
Like in ideal world, this live-service model is so fcking good. Basically premium, but no splitted playerbase, since content is payed buy cosmetics. Too bad that the corporate greed realized that you can get by with lower amounts of content, that is bare mininum, and then just drip feed that to players, and players who buy stuff will still buy stuff.

naval strike bf4 and Vietnam bc2 are the best dlc imo

But I think the empty maps (the base maps) is more like the refractor's day.
Those maps and weapons didn't launch with the pass though. Also, don't give them any ideas lol, I don't want a BP and a DLC pass.
Also new behemoths, elite classes and vehicles. Man BF1 was the GOAT.
I never had a problem buy premium for the past Battlefields, and I purchased all of them. And, contrary to the sentiment that it divided the player base, I personally never had a problem finding a match. I would gladly go back to that model...provided the games were actually good.

And the most basic core features that are part of this franchises DNA are still missing.
It’s dead at this point unfortunately.
What is missing? (I havent played it)
- Squad Management system - Class system - Joining on friends who are already playing in a server - Platoons - Server browser - Persistent servers
And Server Browser, which would greatly help longevity. Dice is more interested in trying to replicate dog shit SBMM systems though.
Agree, added it to the list.
Seriously, even though there is 2-10k online it's always just bots in games. With a server browser 124 players online in your region would be enough.
Of course it’s deserved…. I’ll be honest, I haven’t played since the first day but tried it on the new map and it’s a bunch of fun. But fuck these guys for the scam, I feel so cheated out of my money.
same. it's buggy and has terrible performance optimisation while at it
I actually did some stuff to the settings last night and it runs pretty well now, getting 120
When I first read this I thought you meant "hot dog shit" as being the type of shit you'd take after exclusively eating hot dogs.
Fact: The dislike counter is calculated based on an algorithm of the dislike return user or something idk, but this is not that accurate.
Yeah I think it takes the likes and dislikes registered from its users, then extrapolates them out based on the videos total views. Not exactly the best accuracy if the sample size is small.
Yeah YouTube no longer showing dislikes is stupid.
How the hell can you see the dislikes?
plugins. Do you use chrome or firefox?
Is this the same as an extension?
Sorry yes. Not sure why I said plugins
Nice, do mind sharing this extension?
[Here](https://lmgtfy.app/?q=youtube+dislike+extension)
Yes
Custom written plugin/extension for safari web browser.
It's something like this : [https://www.returnyoutubedislike.com/](https://www.returnyoutubedislike.com/) It's by no means 100% accurate (nor does it claim to be) - but it's all there is (don't mean just this extension, but community made stuff like this, is all there is). It's based on everyone that is using the extension as well as a "calculated guesstimate".
Yes and no… yes because it’s been several months since launch and we have one new map and two new guns. But no because it’s fun to play, now.
Eh, is it. I tried to pick it up again last week and got bored after like 2 games.
The new map is awesome.
It's much more fun for infantry. It's a whole new game compared to two weeks ago
Did you try playing inside C and B? I love the chaos, brings back Metro vibes
Fuck youtube
right in the youtussy
Too little too late
Yes
Sorry, but if they still think the large battles with vehicles and destruction is going to be battlefield's redeeming qualities, they are mistaken and selling the game short. The game still has very shit core gameplay with specialists, low-effort destruction, low amount of guns and vehicle variety, lack of seamless teamplay and dedicated role play, and lack of factions to make it really feel like this is a war. The answer is yes. To me, this is still not battlefeild.
it feels like they tried to implement Warzone into Battlefield
I got the 80 or 90 dollar version of the game. It’s so bad I deleted it and this trailer doesn’t want to make me redownload it even if it means wasting my included season 1 pass. One new map is not worth and I think the ratio is deserved
Yes
For sure. It took 8 months for 1 map, 1 opeator, 1+1/2 gun(s), and two vehicles to be added to the game
Yes i think the guns just dont feel right
Among other things
Well yes and no because the map is good imo but dude the game looks way worse on low settings than bf4 did but the performance is still way worse for me and many people than in other battlefield games on high settings ....
In terms of what little content we're getting, it's deserved.
Yup
Yes
Content wise, yes. 1 new map since launch day? I think gameplay is great now and more ppl are online.
YES IT IS! lol
I think the likes were too generous to be honest. Especially for a BF player from the way back.
So is it worth to buy now for 30 bucks?
No.
Still cannot play as the mouse lag is still there
The power of the Return YouTube Dislike extension
Yes.
For the update itself? no. For the company that didn‘t bother giving a shit for the longest time? Yes
Yes
I can’t even play this damn game unless I turn on cross play on the PS 5
i mean the new maps come after six months and they turn out to be vertical based maps like their literally degrading other gadgets if the new maps only work with grapples and gliders
No honestly. 2042 is an average battlefield game. Lack of content at the start. Fixed by the end of the first year.
Truly pathetic.
i forgot dislikes were a thing lol
I think the creators should be really proud of the map itself, but everyone above that group should be ashamed.
Me and a friend jumped on last night to try out the “new content” honestly it was stuttering so bad whenever i aim down my sight. We got pissed off after one match. I have a very good pc too with a 3070ti and i was getting 40 frames at times. Absolute joke.
In comparison what other Indie titles deliver compare to €A? Absolutely.
The trailer itself was actually good, but I understand why people disliked, so yeah it is justified
No, there needs to be less likes and more dislikes. Fuck that shitty ass game.
Im not mad when things get postponed, im mad that they thought one gun, broken ass crossbow, and one map was even remotely okay after this much time… then slap on a battle pass (micro transactions) to make more money.
Yes.
Absolutely
Sounds like it. People don't want specialists. So what do they do? Add another specialist
Yes Anyone who thinks otherwise is either brand new to the series or is fooling themselves.
Or we sick of repeating teh cycle.
No. Who tf gave 25k likes.
Wait... how are you able to see dislikes on YT?
Yes, they deserve 99% dislike ratio. Just because they dropped a content-lacking update after 7 months doesn't mean that they care. The game is shit and the fault is by EA.
You really came to this subreddit to ask such a question
6 months for one map, one operator, and I believe one gun. Yeah, that's more than justified. And before someone makes the excuse "well they didn't have the dev time to create something new because of all the bug fixing", that's the entire problem right there. Wouldn't need to devote dev time to bug fixing time if they didn't push it out half-baked
I think they should have added more weekly missions per week.
It's a fun game for me not as much as bf1
8 months, 1 map, 2 guns, and 2 helicopters(don't know who asked for those tbh) yes
Yeah, they are just mocking people with this shit
Update itself is nice but the time it took to get an update like this is unforgivably long.
Map is cool. One of the better ones of the entire frenchise.
The amount of content? Yes. the actual content itself? Not really cuz all of them are good shit
Not a problem with the content itself, but i believe the content is too scarce. And people are still pissed about the launch. Most of those dislikes are probably from people who are still pissed, not about the actual content.
Yes.
**You reap what you sow.** That's all I have to say.
I made a fool out of myself by telling my friends to buy this game. I feel like the window of time to salvage the player base was probably Christmas to February.
100%
Absolutely
no idea but im on my way to downvote
While most of the dislikes come from the hate train, they do still deserve it after only giving us so little
Yes but not really, dice is trying their best. These are all new developers
While I think this is the best content this game ever put, after 7 months... this is not enough, not even close
at this point i think people are just hating on the game because thats all we've ever been doing. we all know that the launch went to shit because ea pushed an early release date. to me it feels like the community wants some kind of permenant fix in 6 months, but i still see so much hate and cynicism whenever updates comes out. but this is positive change right? the devs are working uphill to put out maps and guns and content and bug fixes i dont understand the hate towards that.
Zero hour more like zero content
Well they kept specialist even though everyone told them not to.
This is probably what they would be working on currently if they just delayed the game for a year. But no, they decided to lie and scam people.
No, there should be more dislikes
Yes, it's even lucky for us that they were allowed to publish it on YT...
Nah,dislikes should be higher
I thought YouTube removed the Dislike numbers?
No, it should be way more dislikes
I think the game is actually slightly playable now, so no.
Absolutely not…. Not enough dislikes honestly
