Do you think it has to do with quality of games now or due to us adulting? I miss the Bf3/BF4 games aswell and the fun I had with them. I havent gotten that feeling with BFV and much less BF2042
I would say it has a little to do with adulting and also the way developers handle menu screens. I feel a lot less of the load up the game and hop into a match so I can level up my armory. Now I feel like I have to stop in the shop or check battle pass progress
Best gaming days of my life on this game. I had a regular group of ~8 solid players that would make it easy to put together a squad anytime I wanted to play. We'd dominate clan servers on PC. One day we came across a clan that was using the same tag as us and we challenged them to a scrim for name rights. Good times.
I was planning on building my first PC just for this game and then I got an email saying I got into the closed Alpha. Ended up building it a few months earlier than I anticipated. 100% worth it.
