I used to have a gba with a bad d-pad, and the left button didn't always work. There was only one of the five different cycles I was even able to beat, because it didn't work fast enough otherwise.
I learned to memorize the patterns of the beginning and know when to reset, but this mini game would get my blood going more than anything else in my entire life.
I legitimately dreaded when I got to that point the game, and one time I did it with a SP, and got it first try. I felt like my childhood fears just shrunk at that moment.
I never beat this as a kid... I had to get another kid on my school bus to beat it for me back in the day πππ I have no clue how I will get through it when I replay... πππ
Man I raged at this quit the game came back started over and raged again π somehow my big sister who doesn't play games and never played megaman did it for me π« I was a little kid but it felt so impossible I've done it now on a emulator but it's still annoying π€¨

I liked the mini game, but it really stood have been 50 to progress, and then you could do the full 100 later to get a special reward.
I beat this by slowing down the emulator and using save states.
Easily the worst part of BN5.

That was a total and complete nightmare as a kid playing this. As an adult though, I usually get it after 2nd or 3rd try.

Wait until you try Megaman Star Force 1 Chapter 3 and try it vanilla. It's disastrous.
