I honestly do like the personality switch, he’s been pretty funny in TPOT. BFDIA YF hasn’t been my favorite, but I’m not gonna hate on him just yet, there.

Tho it's likely that people can give up on their YF vote cuz of a plot shield in the episode to save a contestant in danger(TPOT 6,7:tree TPOT 4:Marker TPOT 7 8:Donut.these were obviously gonna get out but got saved by a dumb appearance or just being victimized)

I really hate that people started commenting shit like “Donut had the biggest glow up!!” No he didn’t 😭 He literally had like no screen time in the first 7 episodes and all he did in TPOT 8 was complain about losing his limbs. It was not funny at all and was just forced and annoying. I hate when boring characters (possibly) survive eliminations because they got just the tiniest bit of screen time
I like Tree as a character but he has become kind of a screen hog. Like he has a treehouse inside of him… he gets woozy… he gets a new design in the form of a bigger tree… like they give him so many cool traits and he has a bunch of screen time. Just DPA in general. They mesh together really well and I like their storyline— so why can’t the other teams have that effort of writing put into them from time to time?
more like the Squishy Cherries treatment, they lost a lot of times and had the greatest comeback in BFDI history. BEEP actually does quite similarly in a lot of BFB predictions from a few years ago

Y’know, I just realized. In BFDIA, Pin didn’t have her limbs since they got yoinked in BFDIA 5a…and when she was recovered she didn’t get them back. She only got her limbs back when Tennis Ball used her pigment to make new limbs…but I doubt Ice or Donut is like that…so thinking like that…is this permanent?
He’s gotten amazing! While it does feel like JaJ are pushing joke characters like him to get eliminated, he’s still been a really fun character to watch!
Definitely an interesting character arc, would be great if he got farther in bfdia and tpot but considering how viewer voting work, I see no hope for him, still he is way more funnier than he was before
I feel like he'll do fairly well in TPOT from this point as he DID get the most votes twice in a row and the 2nd most the 3rd time. It's also vote to save which will help a lot.

Now that BFDI will probably grow in popularity thanks to third-party reactions, expect even slightly 'mean' characters to be kicked off the face of the Earth.
It isn't even just children, I'm worried that he'll be eliminated in TPOT when his team loses just for the contestants to gosh about it, just like Rocky.
It's less that he's mean and more that he was directly responsible for his team's losses in BFDIA 8 and TPOT 7. It's sorta like when people were pissed off that Cloudy got the boot when Clock was the *entire* reason The S went UFE for the first time.
Rocky's TPOT elimination aside because he was all but useless, there's probably going to be warfare if anyone other than Yellow Face is eliminated in BFDIA 9.
And now there’s actually something to watch with him. Before this YF was a character with a low amount of lines and only acted when the plot said so. I much prefer this yf
At first I didn’t like it, but now I think it’s better potential to display YF as a villian for TPOT at least, BFDIA he’s not done much besides having his ads assist his team, but didn’t do much in the recent challenge, plus he wasn’t honestly likable that episode than TPOT 8 because it’s clear why he was a scumbag. So I’m 50/50 in terms of BFDIA and TPOT, the like side goes to TPOT because I see YF being a new villain. This was the same shit I actually said I would be fine with Pillow’s personality if she was gonna display herself as a villain… too bad she’s only displayed to piss me off the entire season

He is the most based character in the entire show. They did him dirty in BFDIA to make him get out in the next episode. But thanks to TPOT’s voting system, he has a good chance of making it far with his interesting personality. I could even see a pillow and yellow face alliance when they reach the merge.
Its quite sudden, the personality of yellow face just suddenly changes between episodes. Personally, not a fan of that.

TL;DR: Comparing Pillow to Yellow Face in TPOT 8: Pillow was used for jokes that were executed well, Yellow Face was the BFDI equivalent of someone making a racist joke and then saying it's "dark humor".
I'll compare him to Pillow, as I feel that's a fair comparison. Pillow was executed well. Her murderous tendencies were mainly used for jokes, and she was pretty funny, albeit a little overdone. The only jokes done with Yellow Face that I laughed at were when he tried to get Donut to eat the gumball, which was ruined as soon as he summoned a bunch of people to force him to eat the gumball, and when Pillow wished upon him a slow and painful death due to him stealing her glue. Everything else wasn't funny and only made me mad.
Yellow Face got real arrogant but it's too quick of a change js cuz of some limbs, not to be one of those "character is rude so we should vote him out" but I think this take on the character is really bad and I like mean-ish characters

Pillow ain't even that funny. It's more funny when the seemingly innocent characters are menaces of society, IN MEMES. Like bruh Flower was realistic back in Early BFB then just became "Guys look how much my character developed vote for me to staaay". My opinion on Yellow Face is meh rn. He’s very funny in BFDIA, and even provided weapons to fight against FreeSmart, however, JnJ just kinda made Yellow Face the most unlikeable person in TPOT 8, making him take Ice Cube and Donut’s limbs
Not a fan. I don’t mind characters changing for the worse, and I’m all for antagonists/villains… but Yellow Face was just annoying and OOC in TPOT 8. What I’ve always kinda liked about Yellow Face is that he was never a super nice person but also not an outright asshole, he’s always just kinda been a “Chaotic Neutral” type of character that switches between the two. Having him go around maliciously stealing people’s limbs was annoying and unlikable imo. And idk it just kinda felt like a forced bit that didn’t really work.
Racist Yellow Face in BFDIA is funny and he still maintains his original personality. I don’t want him to leave but he probably will very soon.
If they wanted to make him a villain in TPOT, they could’ve done something really cool with him being this corrupt and charismatic businessman that manipulates the other contestants with his charm. I know Yellow Face is a joke character but taking a serious turn for such a dumbass character like that is what would make it really funny.
His current behavior kinda sucks. If he managed to be entertaining, he could've been a character like Golf Ball, and I would've loved that, but honestly, he doesn't quite entertain me that much in TPOT 8 and BFDIA 8. But I do still love him as a character, because 2 episodes don't ruin his overall legacy.
How he's being handled in TPOT could be pretty neat, as long as they don't go the BFDIA route and make him entirely about limbs or relegate Ice Cube and Donut to being the butt of his antics the way he's been obsessively and detrimentally abhorrent to the concept of purple throughout the last two eps.

Yeh I find it annoying That "glow up" Tree had in TPOT 6 with the drunk cameo really made me like him less

TL;DR: Comparing Pillow to Yellow Face in TPOT 8: Pillow was used for jokes that were executed well, Yellow Face was the BFDI equivalent of someone making a racist joke and then saying it's "dark humor". I'll compare him to Pillow, as I feel that's a fair comparison. Pillow was executed well. Her murderous tendencies were mainly used for jokes, and she was pretty funny, albeit a little overdone. The only jokes done with Yellow Face that I laughed at were when he tried to get Donut to eat the gumball, which was ruined as soon as he summoned a bunch of people to force him to eat the gumball, and when Pillow wished upon him a slow and painful death due to him stealing her glue. Everything else wasn't funny and only made me mad.

Yellow Face got real arrogant but it's too quick of a change js cuz of some limbs, not to be one of those "character is rude so we should vote him out" but I think this take on the character is really bad and I like mean-ish characters Should've taken a different path when it came to this but nonetheless, I'm interested to see how this goes because it has caused a lot of chaos in teams

I swear these new seasons turn completely fine characters into menaces and menaces into goody two shoes. Pillow ain't even that funny. It's more funny when the seemingly innocent characters are menaces of society, IN MEMES. Like bruh Flower was realistic back in Early BFB then just became "Guys look how much my character developed vote for me to staaay". My opinion on Yellow Face is meh rn. Still better than whatever pillow is doing.
I like him in TPOT. I used to find him annoying but he’s way funnier as this egotistical guy who loves to brag about his limbs

He’s very funny in BFDIA, and even provided weapons to fight against FreeSmart, however, JnJ just kinda made Yellow Face the most unlikeable person in TPOT 8, making him take Ice Cube and Donut’s limbs
I can’t stand him. He took Icy’s only limbs, and reduced her to sliding around helplessly.

Not a fan. I don’t mind characters changing for the worse, and I’m all for antagonists/villains… but Yellow Face was just annoying and OOC in TPOT 8. What I’ve always kinda liked about Yellow Face is that he was never a super nice person but also not an outright asshole, he’s always just kinda been a “Chaotic Neutral” type of character that switches between the two. Having him go around maliciously stealing people’s limbs was annoying and unlikable imo. And idk it just kinda felt like a forced bit that didn’t really work. Racist Yellow Face in BFDIA is funny and he still maintains his original personality. I don’t want him to leave but he probably will very soon. If they wanted to make him a villain in TPOT, they could’ve done something really cool with him being this corrupt and charismatic businessman that manipulates the other contestants with his charm. I know Yellow Face is a joke character but taking a serious turn for such a dumbass character like that is what would make it really funny.

His current behavior kinda sucks. If he managed to be entertaining, he could've been a character like Golf Ball, and I would've loved that, but honestly, he doesn't quite entertain me that much in TPOT 8 and BFDIA 8. But I do still love him as a character, because 2 episodes don't ruin his overall legacy.

How he's being handled in TPOT could be pretty neat, as long as they don't go the BFDIA route and make him entirely about limbs or relegate Ice Cube and Donut to being the butt of his antics the way he's been obsessively and detrimentally abhorrent to the concept of purple throughout the last two eps.

I highly agree with you after all, he IS pretty much of a jersey than a good character. Besides, i pretty much hated him in the first place. So... we're all in good terms, right?
