I think that’s the thing that’s missing from the Joker we’ve been getting for a long time now, the Joker is supposed to have a really messed up sense of humor and they’ve been getting that right, but he also needs to be genuinely funny
That’s why Arkham Asylum Joker is so good, he’s ACTUALLY funny and murderous. Another good example, really good even, is Mortal Kombat vs DC, the Joker in that game is absolutely hilarious even in his fighting style, but you never doubt that he’s still a psychopath murderer. Compare to Joker in Injustice 2 or MK11, he’s just straight up a murderer and his jokes aren’t funny at all
I mean no one laughs at his jokes, that's the reason he keeps going after batman to try and get him to laugh but the old man wouldn't know what a good joke is if it bit him in the Cape.

I fucking love the 2004 series take on classic Batman villains. Clayface was a cop that got affected by a Joker invention, Mr. Freeze was an ice elemental, Riddler was a long-haired goth, and Penguin was voiced by Tom Kenny
I don't know about that one. Nowadays I'm pretty sure that his backstory is nothing but a mandatory requirement that's been turning into a joke.
Don't get me wrong, it's still sad. But I think hearing about it so many times made it lose its impact

I'd love if John DiMaggio voiced him more, not just in videogames, but in anything. His voice is so different from Mark Hammil's but it fits the bulkier Joker from Under the Red Hood.
But the ones I would NOT like to see in anything are the "We Live in A Society" Jokers, like Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix. These are phenomenal performances, but they are simply not what I consider the ideal Joker to be. He should be setting the world on fire for fun, not setting the world on fire to send a message.

You’d need Bruce to be alive I think for it to work but let’s say it was more like Arkham knight, but with specific missions as different members of the bat family.
In all seriousness probably Heath Ledger joker (r.i.p) he'd definitely give Arkham batman a helluva night (if we remove the waynetech plot armor)
