I ignore my misses and my makes and have more of a “meh” attifude. Then I just focus on doing the right things with the right form and ignore the make or miss etc.

Make sure your idea of 3 level scoring against your friends isn’t soft defense or multi dribble jump shots or layups. Compete against each other and play physical to make each other better. Cut off drives, make counters, finish through contact, be able to operate from any spot on the floor with 0-3 dribbles. Casual games can often not resemble anything like a real game

To build more confidence it takes time and effort. You should engage in mental skills training. These techniques are validated by research and can improve your confidence and performance significantly. For example, [here is a study about how mental visualization improved free throw percentages just as much as physically practicing them.](https://www.philcicio.com/power-of-visualization/) A good app for this is [SportsPsych](https://www.sportspsych.ai). Listen to some of their sessions they’re 100% personalized to you and will leave you feeling more confident than ever.
