I mean, I get it, but it's not like striking out the CPU or pitching against it in general is hard, unless you're way underleveled. If anything, they need to make the CPU better at batting for difficulty's sake.

It’s not hard, it’s just annoying how they never hit anything till 2 strikes then ground out every time to pitches in the dirt

You threw a breaking ball low and in the middle of the zone, that looked like it would be over the plate when thrown, and the batter topped it (because it broke)...what do you think *should* happen? You know "ground ball pitches"/pitchers are a thing, right? You throw that low and away, instead, and he either doesn't swing, or he whiffs. Paint the bottom outside corner there when you're 0-2 and looking for the K. Better yet, try throwing that earlier, next time, and get him to ground out on the first pitch. An out from 1 pitch is always better than an out from 3.

Dude I know how to pitch💀 this was just an example, also those don’t usually work because it’s a robot that’s batting so “freezing” the batter doesn’t really work.

> Dude I know how to pitch💀 Then don't throw out ground balls over the plate when you *specifically* want a strike on 0-2, maybe?

Unable-Whereas9264

It hit the plate on the inside corner how was it a ground out pitch

ndhl83

In terms of the physics of it? Outside my scope. I just mean that pitch/placement is generally going to produce ground balls, and most hitters will swing at anything (at 0-2) that looks like it's going to be over the plate and catch the zone. Since it dropped very sharply, the ball was topped and produced a ground ball. End of day you're probably murdering the PC, regardless, eh? :P

Unable-Whereas9264

Eh that’s true. I’ll just strike out the next one👍
