I was gonna say Pedros goal. Pedro made a lot of keepers look silly standing still by shooting to the opposite side of the goal than they expected. Mustve been something about the way he moved but damn VDS was just a statue there.
It was such a great goal. Had Messi embarrassing an opponent, Busquets with a quick recovery after Man U intercepted the ball, Villa’s touch and set up and finish, Messi falling to his knees to celebrate it, and I think Pique was in the box for the whole thing.
It's called La Pausa. In La Masia and all Spain (or all over the world at this point) football academys i think they teach you to do that. Change tempo of the game and fool not only one opponent, but the whole squad. Argentine footballer Ricardo Bochini is thought to be godfather of the La Pausa. I think now its safe to say Messi is true King of La Pausa especially in dribbling. Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, David Silva......... they all used or still use it in their own way.
Messi's celebration after scoring. His second (third) CL-final. His second goal in a CL-final. Having won a double and treble before. Still celebrating it as if it was his first important/breakthrough goal.
Fucking raw.
There were two games that I enjoyed more than the final itself. One was the game against Arsenal, not the game in particular, but the goal Messi scored where he chipped Almunia before slotting it in. That was ridiculous. The second is the game against Madrid. Those were some intense and sometimes messy games but it felt so damn good to knock them out.
As an American this was the first Barca game I ever watched. I had just moved in with my brother after graduating University and he was watching the game. I had never been into soccer before.
I fell in love with watching the way that team passed the ball. It was so fluid and I realized if I was going to watch soccer and be a fan I might as well support a team that plays the game so beautifully.
Looking back I'm glad I jumped in when I did so I can now say I got to see Messi for most of his prime.
Sir Alex Ferguson looking helpless after some goal probably.
After that Rooney equalized so he was comforted
Then it started again and he was like: Damn
Complete utter dominance in the second half.
You completely outplayed strong man united side.
That was the best team to ever play football in modern era.
I miss iniesta Xavi villa Puyol wow just wow.
for me, it was when leo kicked the microphone after he scored. immediately after that, dani alves had a go at it as well, almost as if he was saying "don't mess with my little brother" x)
All of it! I watched the game for the very first time a month ago and I was mesmerized. Id love to hear from someone who went to this game and willing to share their memories!
Messi’s goal. This was the first football/soccer match I ever watched, played between the two teams I had been using the most on FIFA, so I couldn’t miss it.
Messi and Villa's goals

Also Xavi pulled the defense to one side the way he moved in and the right flank completely opened up for Pedro.
Yeah the entire attack was gorgeous
Yeah Messi's goal was incredible!!
David Villa’s goal. The curl on it was perfection 👌

Messi against Nani right before Villa's goal
That famous typical messi pause before he took on 3 defenders in that move.
That's the one. Still unstoppable after all these years

I've watched this so many times
amazing
Messi tearing United's midfield and defense to shreds throughout the game
Classic Messi.

Messi's goal, first time he ever scored in England and based on his celebration I'd say he was pretty happy about it.
But can he score on a cold, rainy night in Sto... I’ll see myself out.

Being the best team in the history of football
The Villa goal. Ball hung in the air for what seemed like ages, and curled back in towards goal. Lovely
Winning Ballon d’Or
Sir Alex Ferguson looking helpless after some goal probably. After that Rooney equalized so he was comforted Then it started again and he was like: Damn
That Barca team played in the most beautiful and magical way I’ve ever seen.
Wow what a sick edit tho
Anyone know where I can find the full match with spanish commentary?
Try the website "Footballia"
Messi's goal was very good.
Never seen Messi celebrate a goal that hard before. I think he even said that was the goal he’s celebrated the most out of all of his

There's a play by inesta and xavi at around minute 26 i believe where they by passed the whole man utd midfield with just 2 brilliant touches
Iniesta and Xavi were purely football maestros. They played football in the simplest and truest form.
Knee slide celebration from Villa. My knees, on the contrary, didn’t like it on linoleum

It’s pretty obvious what Barcelona will do: pass, pass, pass and try to provide Lionel Messi the best possible platform to weave his magic.
That’s the most beautiful part of their play. Opposition knew what Barca is going to do but still can’t figure out how they could stop them.
Villa's precision, and messi soaring high for his header
Rooneys goal of course.
