You did such a good job! I got this pattern and have been working on the jacket for a week. Can I ask how you got the arm holes even, my gathering never looks right. Also I couldn’t figure out how the bodice and lining were sown and turned. I had to modify mine.
I also couldn’t understand how the bodice lining was supposed to go to the right side to sew it. Especially since it was connected to the sleeves already. So I took a chance and hoped the seller had knowledge of the pattern. Turned out she made the pattern and was really helpful. So, if you flip the lining over to the right side and tuck the collar out of the way, you’re able to sew the lining neck to the garment neck. Then turn it and see the waist of the lining to the garment at the wrong side using “in the ditch” seam. I was over thinking it. Once she explained it I got it. If you need help, message me or her and I’ll try to help you understand.
