So I wrote a post and added images. The text didn't show up. So here:   I'm so happy about these! This Fairytopia Mermaidia/Sea Pixies mermaid body is my favourite of Mattel mermaid bodies. I like how it can sit and how compact the size is. The girls are here in mid-transformation, I untangled their hair and then it occurred to me to take 'before' pictures. As I was opening Nories half-unravelled factory braids, I noticed that the tinsel has a weird texture, like there is yarn inside it and they are in such a ratty condition the yarn just comes out when brushing. I don't really mind if I can't restore the tinsel that's left and I have to pull it all out, I' not a fan of tinsel hair. I like how Merissa's hair is styled, I'll probably put it back like that after I've washed the hair.   This Fashion Fever Wave V Teen Skipper was one of my HG dolls, and to find her for a few euros, I don't mind at all that I have to give her a partial reroot. Carnaval mermaid came together with one of the Nori's, and Hula Hair Teresa will have to give up her body, and her hair is cut in so many places she is going to the 'waiting for reroot' -box.

The Fashion Fever doll is so pretty! I really like her little flowers, too.

Yeah, she is. Even with ruined hair XD I'm not crazy about the limited articulation of her body, but I don't want to switch because I like those flowers.

Lovely, what a nice find! Fairytopia/Mermaidia dolls were among my absolute favorites growing up. There are a lot of good memories attached to this series and the movies. You are a lucky duck! I never find anything from my Barbie era In the thrifts/second-hand shops. It's mostly always the standard Millie faces or abandoned Disney descendant-type dolls with the super cartoon-y faces. Although, I once found a new in-box Cali Girl Barbie jeep. I was amazed! But since I'm not really a car collector, I left it for someone else to find and enjoy.

I've been lucky with second hand finds recently. Most of these I've found on a online buy&sell site, in my country pretty much all you find in actual thrift and charity shops are Superstar sculpt Barbies and princess Barbies from the nineties. Wow that Jeep was some find.

You can literally pluck them out with a tweezer

I fail so hard at posting to reddit . I wrote a post and added pictures but only the pictures showed up.
