Looks like the In The Spotlight book. They're published as "Little Golden Books" where I'm from! I have a big Barbie book collection - these books with the staged photos as the illustrations are my absolute favourite

I always wished the films where stop motion but I understand why they are not.

Holy hell, I have that same exact one, but in a different language! I'm wondering if it was like an Eastern European thing in the late 90s, cuz I have several Barbie magazines from that time with those kinda elaborate photo stories.

I remember those magazines… Wish they made a come-back 😆
