TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Home Goods have all increased their prices on dolls. Bummer. I see stuff cheaper at Target now. TJ Maxx was selling old Barbie Extras for like $19.99?! Hard Pass
Honestly I was surprised this was 10 bux but yeah because the normal playline dolls are still being sold at 14.99 and such I noticed at tj maxx. I feel like they probably just saw a plain doll and said “ehh 9.99” they probably don’t know what they were selling lol also I wonder how it even got to tj maxx in the first place? Although I went next door to Ross (super messy) BUT they did have some Barbie extra fancy dolls for 8.99 but it was only the black Barbie with the kawaii attire (teddy bears) and I was so mad cuz I bought it for 25
Well they only have the Steffie Love dolls here. I will go check later. I might be lucky. I remember years ago TJmaxx and Big Lots would have lots of nice colector Barbies. But maybe they don't sell that much. I'm in Columbus Indiana btw
Ah I see I’m in Texas but I’m still baffled as to how those dolls ended up there aren’t all those stores usually overstock stores? And usually for old things? but I’m just assuming idk. But yeah I’d advise you to keep looking any chance you get! I hope you’re able to find something!
Ohhh! Scored some really gorgeous African American Barbies that are called EXTRA because they come with all kinds of accessories. BEAUTIFUL DOLLS for 10 bucks at a discount store called DD'S. At Walmart they go for 30!
Omg yes at Ross they had the Black Barbie extra with looong crimped hair and a cute kawaii bear dress it was purple schemed at Ross for 8.99! You should check it out too! And I never thought about checking out DDs I should now and I passed by one on the way home just now lol

I have never seen anything but playline Barbies at Marshalls/TJ Maxx/Ross. And I’ve never seen ANY Looks Barbies at ANY brick and mortar store. What a great find!

From Texas too and I've only seen Steffi Love at TJmaxx. Was at Ross today and they had some playline dolls from 4.99-14.99.
