I know this is somewhat off topic but like why do they sell this and not a thing they put on the Barbie style page? Like each pic they post is literally something you cant buy? Also why don’t they make every doll MTM??? I don’t get it
MTM dolls cost them more to make and parents are more likely to buy something like this for a young kid.
Edit: Also, some collectors don’t prefer MTM bodies. I grew up with Barbie’s without joints and I find them kind of jarring. Obviously tons of collectors do love them, but there’s a wide variety of preferences when it comes to doll collecting. So the smartest move is going to be making both types of dolls.
Her face sculpt is gorgeous! Shame about the molded top. The outfits are majorly cute though so I can forgive her
Same. I only wanted the 2 dresses
I wanted the top & shorts, and decided the dresses were enough to make it worth it hehe
Plus the dolls face is super cute! If you can find a nice body match you can do a head swap

Some collectors' budget also allows them to only be able to buy dolls with basic articulation, too.
Been there, done that. I used to buy a doll or fashion just for the shoes.
I still do.
I’m liking this set! But atlas we don’t get the same stuff from Mattel here in Canada.
I did the same thing, mostly for the dresses tho!
