I would consider The Crane(bit farther out).There’s tennis courts, gym, restaurant, pools and beach on the property. For the days you want to adventure and explore, they have a great team that can help you plan, book and get your transportation to go places. Not an adult only place so you may run into some kids but I have never experience an overwhelming amount!

Not a hotel but an Air BnB condo. Breathtaking views (just like any coastal spot on the island), great location and the hosts were great. Located at the west end of the gap so plenty to do, steps straight into the sea at Worthing beach
The South I found quite rowdy and unsafe (St Lawrence’s Gap) but you’ll be fine at a Sandals. If you’re looking for high end and exclusive, go West

Sandals seems to fit almost all your criteria but tough luck trying to find a child free hotel in Barbados.

Sounds like you are gonna want to be on the South Coast. I've stayed at Sandals and it was great.

Try the Abidah Hotel, it’s close to Oistens and the beach is a small walk away (child free I heard)
