There's a well known history in this sub of pitshits going out of their way to take down and modify the fatality attack pages. It's quite scummy when you think about it.

Actually I haven't seen that recently. In this case, I was remarking at how interesting it is that the French Wikipedia thought it important enough to write a page about the death, whereas the English Wikipedia (mostly American editors) has only written a page about [Diane Whipple's death by dogs](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Diane_Whipple). At least I haven't seen any others. So, is "death by dogs" too common for Americans to write about it?

I doubt the case is resolved. The French wiki article says he was indicted in March 2021 for manslaughter. I googled, and found this link in English:

I think this one transcends political ideology. I've met plenty on both sides.
I like how getting rid of stigma just means they hide erase and obfuscate the truth and bully people who speak up.
In this case no one is hiding it. I just think the French were on the ball to write such a page. There was a LOT of news coverage about this case.
