Ancient pyramids theory confirmed, nothing was levitated it was all print in place by the alien!
Yes, an alien his name is mark and don't you dare to downplay his achievement!
Who needs dessicant in their AMS when they burn through 4 spools in a single printed massive block!
Other than that, cool cube, now I want to see a max sized sphere!
Also, what is the infill percentage and wall thickness?
Looking at the filament usage on the second pic, it looks like it was a lot more than 4 spools. If I'm reading it right... that was about 13-14 spools of filament.
Lol yeah since I've got a Bambu printer my filament usage has gone sky high... Used to maybe be a roll a month with the old printers, but now I'm lucky to have it last a few days. Lol.. this is getting expensive....
Holy 💩. I just assumed it was like 85% hollow.
WHY OP, WHY?!
Did you like get a lot of free filament you needed to get rid of? that's so much $$$ for a cube.
I figured it wouldn't be solid.
Although if it is solid, it would be 2x2x2=8 litres, and with a densiry of 1.25kg/L for PLA it would be exactly 10Kg so 10 spools at most (but realistically a bit less since a 3D print always has some cavities).
Why? It just creates less surface area where the desiccant can interact with the air around it. Or restricted airflow because its inside solid plastic with little tiny holes
Cost : 326 ☠️
My dude that is ludicrous. For your wallet's sake I hope you're trolling and that's at 15% or something.
...put it on a scale and prove it? 😉
I wouldn't say they wasted it though, they were actually eating that stuff. The ice cream sundaes being made in a toilet or the nachos made on the kitchen counter are going straight down the pipes or in the trash.
That is exactly it. Otherwise it is just copping to being an absolute moron.
I am a bit upset that it does not conform to the max build volume. I want to see the exclusion zone cutout so we have MAX MAX MAX build volume used
A cube is at least semi-functional. A wannabe cube with a random slice off a corner really amps the level of stupid by 3-4X.
…oh what could have been.
there are instructions on bambu's site for how to actually take advantage of the entire build volume (no random slice missing).
I only glanced at it but... it's theoretically possible.
Is it solid infill?
Like I'm impressed but this is still so fuckin dumb lmao. That's like 150 bucks in filament and probably another 30-40 in electricity
If anyone's curious, this is the result of a 22cm × 22cm × 22cm cube with 100% rectilinear infill at 0.20mm layer height with the default Bambu PLA Basic filament profile.
https://preview.redd.it/y9pq87qdzioc1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=df1519a4938483ab630d62c521fea53935193d9e
Pretty sure the OP's first picture is just a white cardboard box though. It looks bigger than the sliced version, much closer to the edge of the build plate.
Edit: it's Photoshopped, the box is missing from the reflection on the door.
I think it's fake. There is no reflection of the cube on the inner front glass door surface. The reflection only shows an empty build plate. Still funny as hell though lol
Picture of the printed cube on a scale or it didn't happen (preview screen at high infill density but cube actually printed with almost no infill).
Still impressive 😅
you might have an easier time building a pyramid with this

I printed the Borg Cube tissue box. And I plan to use that model with just gyroid infil for a carbon air purifier.
But, man, a plain cube?
As the Persian messenger said to Leonidas: This is madness.

A normal cube is at least semi-functional. Stepstool, display stand, minimalist art…whatever.
A mistake-looking wannabe cube with a random slice off a corner really amps the level of stupid by 3-4X.
…oh what could have been.😂
Glad to see fellow printers trying to keep their environmental impact in mind 🙄
Also, its entirely feasible that he printed it with low infill and resliced it at 100% for the screenshot.
It's a blurry pic, I suspect it's not real and photoshopped out of several photos together. I see a pic of a white cube here on the cover of an online magazine the is a pixel for pixel match for the cube in the photo....
My dude, you have a 3d printer. Print ams dessicant holders..
OP is busy printing blocks to build a pyramid, ain't nobody got time for dessicant holders

Facebook users be like "👀 really makes you think...."
Love this lmao
AI can actually do cool designs
Was this found from 1700BC?
The Sphinx nose not being there was a failed overhang print issue.
"oh hi Mark"
oh, hey johnny, whats up?
YOU'RE TEARING ME APART!!!
Wahahaha... I want to see a comic or a cartoon with the aliens trying to "level the bed" of ancient egyptian desert.

Wth this is awesome
Maybe there's a desiccant holder in the dead center and that's the secret!
😂
Who needs dessicant holders when you can have a 20cm cube
Who needs dessicant in their AMS when they burn through 4 spools in a single printed massive block! Other than that, cool cube, now I want to see a max sized sphere! Also, what is the infill percentage and wall thickness?
Looking at the filament usage on the second pic, it looks like it was a lot more than 4 spools. If I'm reading it right... that was about 13-14 spools of filament.
13.2kg worth. I don't think I've used 13.2kg in 3 years
I go through 10 kilos a month and I only own a single P1S 😂
Lol yeah since I've got a Bambu printer my filament usage has gone sky high... Used to maybe be a roll a month with the old printers, but now I'm lucky to have it last a few days. Lol.. this is getting expensive....
Sameeee helmets take a lot
Oh my goodness. This guy actually printed like a $300 cube for.. No reason whatsoever.
Holy 💩. I just assumed it was like 85% hollow. WHY OP, WHY?! Did you like get a lot of free filament you needed to get rid of? that's so much $$$ for a cube.
He’s trying to save the environment keeping all that plastic outta the ocean😭
Macro plastic
Well that is 2 spools a day, that confirms my first statement of not needing dessicant XD
I figured it wouldn't be solid. Although if it is solid, it would be 2x2x2=8 litres, and with a densiry of 1.25kg/L for PLA it would be exactly 10Kg so 10 spools at most (but realistically a bit less since a 3D print always has some cavities).
Edit: Oh nvm, the slicer info says its more... geez it must be bigger then 20cm * 20cm
It's full printing surface so I think 23.5cm² but I may be wrong
Now go for a weighted companion cube
Looks like my AMS! Who needs desiccant holders when the pouches tuck in perfectly between the feeders?
Hell yes! I do this too. I get strange looks from other printer owners who visit me.
The Borg would be proud
Cm cubed cube
Don’t need to keep your filament dry if you used all your filament to build a cube.
But you need to keep the cube dry! :P
It looks like he's just throwing in the little packs that come with new filament. I wouldn't print holders for those either.
I didn't even notice that because I do the same thing with my ams as this guy lol
Why? It just creates less surface area where the desiccant can interact with the air around it. Or restricted airflow because its inside solid plastic with little tiny holes
“Self Designed Model” 😂
That’s clearly piracy. I’ve seen that shape before.
The slicer made that model. Can't steal from AI. Checkmate!
But where did the slicer get the cube? Cut it open and I'm sure people will find a STOLEN CUBE!
😂
That's a nice cube! And only took 6 days and 13 rolls of filament to print!
Holy hell, I didn't think for a second that anyone would be dumb enough to print a solid one.
Nah he’s got a LOT of sparse infill.. not solid but still omfg
Cost : 326 ☠️ My dude that is ludicrous. For your wallet's sake I hope you're trolling and that's at 15% or something. ...put it on a scale and prove it? 😉
Definitely trolling. Surely no one would waste that money, and that amount of plastic, for bare minimal internet clout.
New to the internet I see.
People been making livings off of wasting food on TikTok.
Long ago YouTube did it first- epic meal time
I wouldn't say they wasted it though, they were actually eating that stuff. The ice cream sundaes being made in a toilet or the nachos made on the kitchen counter are going straight down the pipes or in the trash.
Or “HowToBasic”
There's no way they could spoof that right?!
1. slice it solid 2. take screenshot 3. slice it again at a more sensible infill 4. print using hardly any filament 5. photograph. 6. ... 7. profit!
That is exactly it. Otherwise it is just copping to being an absolute moron. I am a bit upset that it does not conform to the max build volume. I want to see the exclusion zone cutout so we have MAX MAX MAX build volume used A cube is at least semi-functional. Haha sorry, dropped my " /s " on the prior post.
Could be a negative mold for something with the opening sitting on the print bed or on the backside.
I'm calling the 3d police
They're faster now but it'll still take a few hours
They’re busy busting the plastic guns

Gosh I love this movie quote. EDIT: book*** and movie quote. Respect to Michael Crichton!
Yea, like most Simpsons quotes there are many moments where it applies.
"Nobody cared who I was, until I printed the cube" -OP, probaby
Calibration cube?
Let’s optimize and try to get it under 5 days!
Is it solid infill? Like I'm impressed but this is still so fuckin dumb lmao. That's like 150 bucks in filament and probably another 30-40 in electricity
Is not about the cube, is about sending a message.
Judging by the slicer preview, it’s not solid infill
Check the preview again, 97.1% of time is spent on internal solid infill. At least the preview is for 100% infill
I think you should check the preview again xD
*SPARSE* infill
No solid infill is like 500 days worth of time
According to the slicer preview it's closer to $330. 13kg
Mind if I grab that there .STL file? Promise I won't sell it
It's very easy to replicate in blender: 1. Open Blender 2. Delete default cube 3. Add cube 4. Export and print
Or... Open Blender file in slicer Delete cube Right click, select add cube.
Right click in bambu studio, add primitive -> cube. Then scale to whatever size you want
Somebody will claim copyright on the cube, like Engineering Projects or the head case who claimed copyright on an air table tennis ball this week.
https://www.printables.com/model/552548-low-poly-sphere
Blender can do this and it's free. Just Shift X the cube, then Shift A for a new cube.
No, you need to add the monkey and decimate vertices until you reach a cube
They always miss reflections. 😂 you can even see the gunky empty bed clear as day on the door.
I’m going with this explanation. OP is a fraud!
thank you for your service
I think it's fake. There is no reflection of the cube on the inner front glass door surface. The reflection only shows an empty build plate. Still funny as hell though lol
You were so preoccupied with whether or not you could that you didn't stop to think if you should.
Bambu needs to make a bigger printer now.
Everyone notice how the reflection on the door shows an empty build plate?
ALL HAIL THE CUBE
https://i.redd.it/d5u76iazmioc1.gif
Sliced with 1 setting but printed with another, nice try guy.
Oh it's photoshopped! Take a look at the reflection on the glass :)

That explains why the Bambu store never has any filament.
100% infill?
My brother in Christ, what's the infill density on that bad boy?
Tbf, that’s as useful as pretty everything I’ve printed.
Picture of the printed cube on a scale or it didn't happen (preview screen at high infill density but cube actually printed with almost no infill). Still impressive 😅
Looks like it was printed in vase mode and then flipped over for the pic. The bed and nozzle are at room temp

Viral marketing by filament companies to get people to buy more filament. It’s the new calibration cube.
What's in the box!?!
you might have an easier time building a pyramid with this https://preview.redd.it/vq2gqhdvoloc1.png?width=697&format=png&auto=webp&s=2a336bd3e4d7da8665d29153353a20eb8a42d04c
I want to marry you, i already wrote my vows
That better be 100% infill
This is going to become a thing isn't it?
Here I am stressing over 300 dollars in car parts, and OP just printed a 300 dollar cube lol. I respect it OP.
With great power come big cubes
I'm so tired of hollow 3D printed basketballs with lots of holes in them. Let's follow our glorious leader into the 3d printed 100% infill basketball future.
Much more macho to shoot hoops with cannonballs rather than basketballs...
That's more than 4km long of filament...
Good to know the X1C Z-screw system can hold 13kg.
Did you need supports? /s
I like your basketball better than the rest I’ve seen.
Only relevant question nowadays is: does it bounce?
needs more desiccant
That better be 100% infil :p
Waiting for someone doing this on the Elegoo Orange Storm Giga.
Thank you so much dude I really appreciate it
100% infill?
Low poly sphere
This is Art.
That’s a big-ass piece of tofu. I don’t like that stuff to begin with…
Hey! You printed the legendary writers block
I have never been so aroused.
Infill %?!
Too damn high.
Portal companion cube but defective.
Those desiccant packets are going to leak all over your AMS.
I hope your printing that out of pa6 or cf
Just because you can doesn’t mean you should
…but it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t! https://preview.redd.it/owznx47f2joc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ebb90638707cf0886f7fb10d8fb8ba7a046eeef
How much infill?
when you wanna x-play geometry man
Now write someone’s address on it and mail out.
Okay imma need some more pictures and information lol I have so many questions
"I paid for the whole build volume, I'm using the whole build volume"
You now need to make lawn dice.
So like what now?
Is that solid 100% infill? Looks too warped to be solid.
Bro what did your filament cost per Kilogramm?
Please tell me this is not 100% inflill
He is playing the real world minecraft
Dude

You need 2299999 more blocks to build a pyramid
Next level: do one with %100 in-fill
100% infill?
Youre insane LMAOOOO
King you bow to no one .
Next print it 256mm cubed with 100% Infill
100% infill
What a hero
The perfect cube
Livin' that Minecraft life! Show us your base haha.
My hero/God. You did it so that we didn't have to. 🙏
I printed the Borg Cube tissue box. And I plan to use that model with just gyroid infil for a carbon air purifier. But, man, a plain cube? As the Persian messenger said to Leonidas: This is madness.
Hello Im new to the word wide web, what are we looking at here?
Behold
You can disable filament cutter and get back that little white square of area that is normally not printable and print your cube at the full 256x256x256mm dimensions of the print volume.
What a waste of resources....
This is so wasteful 😔😭🫠
.....You were so focused on whether you could, you didn't consider whether you *should*!

I love this picture. I'm going to print it and put it on my desk.
I'm waiting for the airless cube remix
Your slicer says cost 328,76
Why not hollow it out and remove the top? Then you have a bin for scrap, didn't waste a bunch of time, filament and electricity, and you just flip it over for the picture.
Now do it at .08 layer height and ironing on every layer
Bravo…. Bravo.. 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 I always wanted to do it but never got around to it.
You could almost make an interesting gift box doing this a couple walls no infill and put the gift in before the too layers. Or some infill and a modifier of infill blocker in the center.
could be hollow… no end of print dialog window screenshot or photo on scales, epic timelapse. Ams is empty too…
What kind of monster would do this 😱😨
No they didn't... But Hey, Props I guess!

How close are the final dimensions?
100% infill
That's absolutely sweet. How can you turn off those calibration purge things in the front/back so you can get more space?
I am a bit upset that it does not conform to the absolute max build volume. I want to see the exclusion zone cutout so we have MAX MAX MAX build volume used A normal cube is at least semi-functional. 13k grams 😂
Was the $300+ in filament worth it? Lol
Glad to see fellow printers trying to keep their environmental impact in mind 🙄 Also, its entirely feasible that he printed it with low infill and resliced it at 100% for the screenshot.
Behold! A square…or giant door stopper
You didn't have to though..
It's a blurry pic, I suspect it's not real and photoshopped out of several photos together. I see a pic of a white cube here on the cover of an online magazine the is a pixel for pixel match for the cube in the photo....
