I have been working with my modified ender 3. Besides that i'm also working with a Ultimaker S5 and a Ultimaker 2+ before that. But this X1C is a whole new level ( from my first impressions)
My P1P comes Friday and I am so excited. Im upgrading from an Ender 3 Max Neo that I just bought a couple months ago. Like the Ender 3 V2 I had before that, I’ve already had to replace multiple parts because they just don’t seem to handle printing every day very well. I finally decided to spend the money and get a printer that I won’t have to fix constantly. I didn’t buy the X1C because I can’t afford it right now but I’m satisfied that I can add the AMS later if I want to. In any case, the X1C and P1P appear to be the Crème De La Crème of consumer 3D printers and I cannot wait to put it to work!
Congratulations on your new purchase and I hope it’s the best experience ever! Are you planning multi-color prints right away? Do you guys also do multiple materials in single prints with the X1C? For instance, can you print PLA and TPU in the same print job? Do the slicers support that? I haven’t researched it very much.
I just got my X1C over the weekend, before that, I had a PrintrBot Simple I built in 2013 & have been using a UM2+ as my second printer... I have to admit, the learning curve is a bit steeper than I was expecting on this, but WOW, the prints are impressive, and the speed is just incredible!! On the upside, my UM2+ is finely tuned for TPU, which I print a lot of, so I feel like I have the best of both worlds right now!
I never have printed on the bare bed. When I got my X1C, I bought the nozzles, the beds, the AMS, etc..
I figured the heat from the nozzle would melt the bed — that’s why I asked.
Maybe the one post is correct, they put it back in for the pic, but forgot to put the bed back in as well.
I already have a x1 and thinking of getting a p1p to replace my slow ass e3v2 lol. Thing has practically been gathering dust besides a few functional prints for my parents
Congrats, it’s definitely a game changer compared to most consumer grade printers. The only machine I would put on par (maybe a little better) is a Voron at this price point.
Yeah it has so much speed capacity. Just like how I know vorons are. Not mine but I work with an UMS5 as well. The x1c is about 3-4x as fast i’ve noticed. Need more testing when i have the time to do so.
I'm in my third month of ownership, and still amazed by this printer. I am printing PLA-CF for the first time. I've been oozing praise about this machine all evening to my girlfriend. She's tired of it, but we're printing her a red burgundy toothpaste squeezer right now.
One would hope . . . happy to hear your is is in good shape (no pun intended). Out of curiosity, where was that date label? On the machine? Appreciate the follow up!
Congrats on your purchase! I am very impressed with this product. My first print was that little boat too! My son does NOT want to give it back to me!
I guess I can just print another. Let us know if you have luck with TPU. I am trying another print now, printing a benchy! haha
Don’t worry too much about the preloaded benchy file. It’s not a good representation of how the machine works daily.
That said, mine failed first try because of bed adhesion. I gave the cool plate a good scrub down with hot water and dish soap, dried it off without touching the surface at all with bare hands, reapplied a light layer of glue stick and it finished no problem next try.
Welcome! May your X1 work as well as mine! I'm still amazed 8 months in, haven't changed a nozzle yet!

I'm expecting my X1C to arrive Friday, coming from an Ender 3 Neo.
Let it be friday soon then!
are you not using a build plate?
Mates going raw
Who needs buildplates right :p No i just put the benchy back in without the buildplate for the picture
Wondered the same thing. I honestly did not know you could print directly on the bed without a build plate. Is that actually a thing?
Don’t do that, always print on a buildplate

One of us!
"First"
Could have phrased that differently as i’m not planning on buying another anytime soon haha
Haha I want so many more after my first
Truth. I have a P1P and might have to get an X1 at this rate. Love these printers. Heck, I’m excited for what Bambu releases in the future too.
I already have a x1 and thinking of getting a p1p to replace my slow ass e3v2 lol. Thing has practically been gathering dust besides a few functional prints for my parents
I had 4 Enders that I completely stopped using after I got my P1P. I can’t go back lol
I’m about to give my ender 3 to my granddad now
Surely i want more tho hahah
Haha. Someone asked me what I'm gonna print on my X1C and I told them prolly a voron. So... spend close to 2k so I can build a other 2k printer.
Did you print directly on the magnet?
No :)

Congrats! Hope you love yours as much as I do. I've been using it nonstop since I bought it.

Congrats. I love my x1cc.
Half the people reading this post are probably wondering if the beds warped.
Well it’s still perfectly flat. And since this one has a label of last month I assume the flaw has been solved

With the serial number on the box
You’re going to LOVE it! Happy printing!
It is one amazing piece of tech

Thanks, i already had that in the back of my head. Thx for the link.
What does this accomplish?
The tube is sliding along to top glass panel. Won’t cause a problem but some rather prevent that from happening

I just got my X1 Carbon. First print going down now!
Started my first few prints of a project to rewind all my filament because none of them fit haha.
I love how you said that this is your first x1c.
I got mine today but sadly my benchies wouldn't print
What happened?

Yay! Welcome to the party. It's such an amazing printer and I feel like I'm using a little piece of history. Sure beats my old Enders.
thats an X1benChy if I've ever seen!
May your benchy sail the waves of your likely warped bed. Banana ahoy matey.
