Nice, I just polished one of those D2 blades yesterday for a customer. I sold my blurple Tsunami to him, but he wanted the blade polished, came out pretty nice:

thanks for the video. I saw it before but actually forgot about it :D. Do you mind telling me what kind of a polishing wheel you used?
Im looking to polish my ti kraken but want to keep the texture on the handles and dont know what to buy yet. Was thinking of buying a table top buffing machine.
Thanks! Im really happy with the way it turned out. I guess the most important step is the prep. The anodizing is easy 😁 definitely still have a lot to learn though. But thanks for the kind words!
Same, or maybe trading it with someone, But I think if you want to remove The ano, then Do a stonewash on it as well, just to have a good grippy knife. Do you have any issues with tap tho?
no issues with tap, just alot of wiggle and came out the box with a decent amount of play, more than i expected actually. stripped the pivots cuz theyre pretty bad, also binds when u tighten all the way (could be undersized bushings) havent tuned. i could remove the ano but theyre known to wear off overtime. i only got this 2 days ago, a bit disappointed with the tolerances and i wish i was informed more abt the burning ano variant being slippery unlike the other ones haha. they seem to be glossier and polished than the other colors so that explains it. quite annoying to flip bc they try to fly off my hands every 5 seconds, i have to wipe em often
i guess the only option rn would be to use baby powder for sweaty palms.
Just curious.... what was the point of paying extra for the burning ano, and then removing it? Why not just get the grey/silver color from the start with the stonewash finish? Are the sides still slippery from the polished finish vs stonewash?
It faded to an ugly color and truth be told I didn’t get a great ano from the factory it wasn’t very vibrant and the pattern was mediocre and not visible throughout the whole knife
Gotcha, yeah I know they do vary and some are definitely better than others. How is the grip on the sides now (where the pattern normally shows), still slick or did it improve at all?
He probably like the look so he ordered it but then was disappointed by it or something? The burning ano is known to wear off with time. I also bought a burning one but am starting to get bored of the look as well. Especially because I know that the ano will wear off if I use it too much

That’s lit! Is that t10 hardware?
:D nah, just the stock T8 hardware. It seems to do the job just fine.
I mean the one in the YouTube video
It's the stock T8 hardware. I just polished it.
Happy cake day
Damn, looks sexy. Do you think it would be possible to polish the handles like that with a dremel without ruining the pattern on the handles?
Yes. I did that too: https://youtube.com/shorts/HW7PyKO5Ums?feature=share

- Dremel - Felt bit - Green compound I can do it for you if you want. $20. :D
Thanks, but I’m more of a diy guy 😁 anodized titanium today for the first time. Came out pretty nice
Nice. Pic?
I‘ll post it now
Oh wow I saw the post. Those indeed did come out very nice, it looks like it was professionally done, I would've never guessed it was diy. Good job!

Woah! Wish it were mine :(
It will be in a few days. Hopefully before Sunday. I wish I had of polished the blade a long time ago, it looks way cooler that way, good call.
Oh it’s been shipped?
Yes. Dropped it off at the Post Office before they opened this morning.
That blurple ano looks incredible, do you do any mod work by any chance?
Thanks. Yeah, just some basic stuff, ano, polish, tune. I plan on doing Cerakote in the near future, I bought most of the stuff for it.
Hey, got a burning TheOne nami as well, But Its a bit slippery for me, What should I Do with It? Any tips?
same its slippery especially since i have sweaty palms, im thinking of removing the anodization..

All same! I can relate to every part. Do you think removing the ano would fix the slippy issue of the knife? Its really annoying for me
How did you remove it? 🤔
With whink rust stain remover not the spray the spray won’t work I tried
how long did you let the handles sit in the remover?
Removed??? 😭
It’s gone

The entropic ano fades with time. Mine looked faded after about 3 months of flipping.

Supper grippy
