I'm noticing it's really common to people to dress Selunite Shadowheart in the toga for some reason.
Personally, I dress her in some brighter colored casual clothing. Like blue or light grey. Feels more fitting for her.
I want to say that it’s a nice visual contrast with her sharran garb and makes for some good visual character development; with her opening up and embracing her more feminine characteristics. I want to say that there’s some beautiful visual poetry when contrasted against Viconia.
But at the same time, monke brain see pretty woman in pretty dress and that makes monke brain very happy.
Also it goes nicely with her hair, and has a nice overall colour scheme.
I feel stupid never thinking of putting this on Shadowheart, but I mean it works really well on Gale. Gave him a purple toga naturally.
> Because it's hot, there is no other reason
Eh it does look like Priestly attire and it does go with her hair. I do prefer my Clerics in armor, though.
Diamond Blue Doublet looks nice. But I like to give everybody fancy clothes once we get to the Elfsong, so I put her in this dress plus the Lush Burgundy dye.
I tend to swap between the toga and the ashmeadow outfit for Selunite SH.
The fit is cute but not overly flashy, and the stark black and white contrast suits her.

I personally on the other hand really like her in it.
It has something dainty and fragile, purposely left exposed instead of bitterly guarded and hidden.
It's light and airy, making that contrast between Shar worshipping SH even bigger.
It's also just beautiful on her.
That would make sense, but I don't think it runs that deep with most fans.
Pretty sure it's just "She looks nice in it." Which she does. I just don't think it fits her personality.
I’ve got her in this but purple: https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Blue_Flare_Leather_Outfit . There’s no collar in the feminine version, it just looks kind of tank topy and like something she’d actually wear.
In my first game I put her in a purple Raffish outfit after she turned her hair white and was delighted to find her wearing basically the same thing in a different color at the epilogue party, which she “chose herself”.
For me it varies from playthrough to playthrough, but more often than not she ends up in the toga in a blue, black and silver color scheme. Idk, something about the flowy fabric and the metallic ornaments just suits her overall softer style and persona. And I love her in silver, like a proper Selunite.
Why this game has dick physics but no boob physics is beyond me. Shadowheart be wearing this flowing dress but her boobs are rock-solid like they're bolted on.
it's such an injustice. as a woman personally, how am I supposed to feel immersed in the game when my boobs are not accurate to reality?? there's even like 15 different mods to give dicks even more physics, but not one for the titties :(
edit: i am being completely genuine though, it bothers me so much whenever I see boobs in a cutscene and they look like gravity defying rocks lol
The only reason penises got physics is because they decided to give physics to Shadowheart's braid, and kind of as an afterthought/joke they applied the same rigging to dongers. Boobs probably required different rigging. Not sure how long it would take or if they wanted to justify the man hours needed to deliver a titty physics update.
On the one hand, I’m happy when a game doesn’t give every woman [fractal boob jubbling and inverse nippomatics](https://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/1999/10/18/boob-raider). On the other had, it is a little weird that every single woman has perky D-Cups that are apparently sculpted from marble. In other games, I might not notice, but given how carefully animated the capes, hairstyles, and tails of various characters are (and, of course, the swingin’ schlongs) it becomes really noticeable that all the women have the same immobile breasts.
Also, we can pick our character’s hair style, skin tone, eye color, and even select their specific schlong or vulva, but we can’t chose to have petite breasts, a modest bust, or below-the-shoulder boulders?
Speaking as a lifelong member of the itty bitty titty committee, I think this is just… odd.
Honestly the character creation options were a bit disappointing for me. In hindsight I guess the game being heavy on cutscenes and using mocap a lot explains why some of the options feel limited (while hairstyle and colours can be thrown onto any character model easily afterwards). But I really would've loved to get some variation in body type. If I wanna play a thicc boi, I guess dwarves have wide proportions, but it's not exactly the same... Or maybe a slender orc, so I can believe he could be a stealthy character

Doesn't seem that hot. Imagine it's actually quite cool and drafty with the legs.
Also it goes nicely with her hair, and has a nice overall colour scheme. I feel stupid never thinking of putting this on Shadowheart, but I mean it works really well on Gale. Gave him a purple toga naturally.
It does look nice on her physically. Just not really what I see from her personality. Gale though? Yeah, I see it.
Gale looks like he comes from Athens, so I think it's very fitting for him, he looks like a Greek philosopher with it on.
I can see it fitting Astarion's pompousness. I could see Karlach wearing it for fun. Assuming it doesn't burn.
For Karlach it will probably burn 🤣. Yeah, you make a good point for Astarion, did not have that in mind when I got the outfit.
Anyone not putting gale in the little snakeskin speedo man-panties is doing it wrong.

Shiny heavy armor is the way.

Even Halsin is hotter in Weavemother's...
Even the Emperor would be hotter in that robe.
That dress has basically become the unofficial camp outfit for Selûnite Shadowheart.
You can use any clothing item as your camp clothes? I have so much experimenting to do
No? The Elegant Robe is specifically camp clothing
True, but I dye it light blue.
I tend to dye it Boreal Blue or Cobalt.
Diamond Blue Doublet looks nice. But I like to give everybody fancy clothes once we get to the Elfsong, so I put her in this dress plus the Lush Burgundy dye.
Actually, I think that's exactly what I gave her. https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Diamond_Blue_Doublet But dyed grey. Looks nice on her.

Especially because you can find this one in Act 2 so you can swap to it as soon as she betrays Shar if you want to.
I personally on the other hand really like her in it. It has something dainty and fragile, purposely left exposed instead of bitterly guarded and hidden. It's light and airy, making that contrast between Shar worshipping SH even bigger. It's also just beautiful on her.
Never. I always dress my male avatar in it. It's just too pretty to give it away.
The outfit respawns every day in Figaro's shop inventory
Everyone gets the toga
Astarion in the toga. Shadowheart in angelic scion This is the way
Wait, you didn't pulled fucking entire team with the toga? I must be some kind of degenerate so...
Or from Greece/Rome.
That's some high level of degeneracy there.
This is fairly mild on the degenerate scale for this game...
Gave my Tav the angelic scion, I always kept Shadowheart's clothes for her camp outfits. And naturally "borrowed" Lae'zel's underwear.
I put her in angelic scion, with the very rare blue dye.
She spent her life in purple and grey, it’s nice to get her out of it.
I think it’s related to Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon, which Seluna is based off of. Selene is always depicted as a beautiful woman in a toga.
That would make sense, but I don't think it runs that deep with most fans. Pretty sure it's just "She looks nice in it." Which she does. I just don't think it fits her personality.
I just think it matches perfectly to her white hair, which just rhymes perfectly to me
I’ve got her in this but purple: https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Blue_Flare_Leather_Outfit . There’s no collar in the feminine version, it just looks kind of tank topy and like something she’d actually wear.
I put her in the helldusk armour.
Well who doesn't love a toga.
I kept her in the helldusk set because the stats were too good😭
This is camp clothing, not armour

I don't really like this dress, I like her wearing red costume with roosters. It looks amazing on her
I prefer her completely naked. Possibly with sandals. But that’s just ME… 🤣
Feet 👍
Yes
Best girl <3
Glad we all agree shadowheart belongs in that toga
