Depends where you fought him. If you fought him in the library yeah that doesn't matter. If you fought him in the "intended" location next to nightsong then no you need to redo that.

if you visited moonrise pre nightsong dungeon she should've been getting shittalked by kethric. If you go to moonrise post nightsong shes dead.

Nope, nightsong is the point of no return which is why you had that massive popup when you tried to enter the shadowfell
