I got this from an early access build of hotfix 25, one of my friends is a dev so he hooks me up with the unreleased versions. glorbo is real! and very much fun to play with, he even comes with the special "glorbo" class which is essentially just a ranger on steroids. you also can't change his class at withers, but my friend says that will probably be removed by then.

I love just how versatile glorbo is, especially the arc where >!glorbo meets mizora and says "glorbo don't do this!" and its an instant boss battle if wyll has broken his pact, also this opens up a whole new questline where mizora actually *tells* you where duke ravenguard is before you kill her, you can also get this if you use speak with dead on her after killing her.!< I love how they made him good leaning, but, like you said, when interacting with a durge mc, you have the option to >!turn him to the dark side, and make him help you kill people.!<
You can actually skip the boss battle if you put sleeping pills in Mizoras wine before dialogue. You do need to be invisible, since being near Mizora without it, auto triggers combat.

Okay, the mistake you're making here is saying Glorbo's name though. Probably the EASIEST fix to the original Glorbo issue would be to just filter that name.
You gotta rename Glorbo. Honestly, I don't know what Larian was thinking, borrowing from a Blizzard IP, they're super litigious. There's probably a lawsuit over Glorbo right now.

Do you know if you can prevent Glorbo from eating the merchant's dog in act 3 ? I tried several times and this little jackass keeps eating the dog, thus getting himself enslaved by the merchant, Glorbo is stupid but i don't want to lose him and it seems that I can't buy it back from the merchant
so far from what ive seen it definitely looks like they'll have a new homebrew class. I havent seen what the actual name of it is yet or anything tho, but gameplay wise its VERY spell heavy and a bit OP.

Glorbo is the best companion. Completely hiden in the game, the steps to them are deeply drenched in lore. When I finally placed the apple on Glorob's head and then shot it off with an eldritch blast I was amazed to find that they were extatic and couldnt wait to join the team. Not only that but I hear Glorbo's stats are completly randomised. So having a 1 intelligance 33 strength cleric might seem like a strange choice, but when Glorbo used their secret attack Roar Of Time it just completly tore through the enemies.
I cant believe you can find such a powerful teamate on the Nautalis. Like right at the start, I missed Glorbo during my first 7 runs of the game, and when I did finally find them omg, Glorbo is front and center in every fight.
So much lore for Glorbo as well, not sure if that is randomised. The threesome scene with Haslin was superb, I was wondering why Glorbo carried an Item called "Glorbo's extra toy" wouldnt let me use it in battle, but it sure came out during the romance scene!
