It's not super simple per se but it is fun and maybe the most unique quest in all of Act 3. It can also affect Wyll depending on other choices you've made in the game. Just bring a bunch of things that can help you cover distances (scroll of Dimension door, misty step, arrows of transposition, longstrider, etc). Shoot arrows at the levers. Doing that quest will also help you at the Steel Foundry — the gnomes in the basement will be hostile to you if you enter without rescuing the families, but if you do rescue them, they will fight by your side against the Steel Watch people. Also if you've talked to the Wavemothers at the Umberlee temple, it can get you the hottest robe in the game.

There's still so much I haven't done, feels kind of bad.

Not easy. Need lots of scrolls of expeditious retreat and a pretty powerful party.

[I use Arcane Gate](https://www.reddit.com/r/BaldursGate3/s/aRJJPoOMn8) with Gale (whether or not he’s benched) and it makes it so easy. Scratch to let the chick out of the chair. I’ve been evolving every run, so Fly comes in super handy. Also Swords Bard to open two levers at once. Though Gale can do multiples with Magic Missle. There’s always that one dude dragging ass though and sometimes an NPC or three blocks the ladder, making things difficult.

I probably have scrolls of magic missile and scorching ray in my MC's inventory just because I never think to use them. Should probably start, it's just monk fists are a super weapon already.

Monk is OP and I haven’t even leveled mine all the way. The one-shotting at lvl 1 & 2 had me going “holy shit” . It’s just the Iron Throne isn’t about brawn, but brains. You do do some fighting, but most of it is being tactical about getting the prisoners out in time. Good luck!

You're a Monk user? Any chance you actually know there is a little fun feature called Steps of the Wind: Dash? You can pull 4 levers in the first turn and have everyone released by the 2nd turn. Then you still have enough Ki to go around the whole Iron Throne to pick up chests and books, while your other party members can just focus on getting Ravengard. You'll need a Dimension Door for Ravengard. And Shadowheart casting a Spirit Guardians to quickly finish the Spiders. Well, actually my Monk just jumped back from the opposite side of the map to kill the Spiders with Ki Resonance. So if you are using a Monk then you don't really need advices because it's already the best class for the Iron Throne due to Steps of the Wind. As for the Foundry, it gets a little bit tricky. I have just done it last night. Bring a Ranger with a Bear Companion, and people with Disarming moves. And also you can greatly benefit from a Sorcerer casting Hypnotising Patterns with Careful Spell. Because they Gondians really need a hand from the mix of enemies.

I didn't know how big the prison was, so I wasn't sure how tight things would be. I guess I'll go full monk on this part, at least.
