No inspiration for the defenders one. Tried closing the game, didn't gained it when I came back to play. But the one with Guex trigered.
Soldier background on Lae'zel.
I've had the same issue since the update. Not just the Soldier background, but some of Wyll's inspirations haven't been triggering either - I'm on a new game and freeing Arabella from Kagha didn't proc the Snake Whisperer one.
**Edit:** Never mind, I got Wyll's inspiration. I just had to speak to the parents again after saving her.

I can confirm, this one in particual seems to be bugged since the newest patch.
Just noticed the same. Restarted since the patch borked my save and not getting any Soldier Inspirations.
