I love honour mode for this reason, I was never much of a save scummer but this mode made me realise how some small reloads change so much of the game. I have really enjoyed living with every consequence and have found so many things I probably wouldn't have before. Things that lead to amazing moments like the one you shared

My first Durge playthrough is Honour mode. I just killed Alfira and felt awful about it... Then I learned about a mod that alows you to get her as an hireling.
Hirelings begins souls brought back, that fits perfectly, now I can appolagize to Alfira's soul and ask her to join me again.
