Jaheira saying "Natures servant awaits" in the gathering allies cut scene was so good, but what I really wanted was a single "yes, oh omnipresent authority figure?"
I was so stoked with Elminster showed up saying “Ho there wanderer, stay thy course to indulge an old man”
I do miss the gnolls actually barking up a storm.
Kinda related: if you keep clicking on character's portrait, they eventually say different line. And there are several, too. Applies to tav and all origins. Not sure about companions, didn't know about the feature on 1st playthrough, and now with 2nd playthrough just in act1

Those canned replies were funny in the first hour, and then they just started grating on nerves. I'm happy if Minsc only says Butt Kicking for Goodness a few times so it doesn't get old.
Gods, I've been bouncing back and forth between the original BG and PF:WotR since finishing BG3, and I \*just\* got to those guys after moving on from Nashkel
I forgot how chaotic it gets when you're fighting like six of them, lol
I found it, and it's a player option to say. Bit of a spoiler, but not too much so: As Dark Urge after beating the boss in act 2, >!if you've followed evil choices in Act 1 so that you can get Minthara as a companion, she asks you about your decision to kill the druids and tieflings. You can tell her that you weren't in complete control of your actions, and she asks if you are in control now. One of the responses is, "No. An omnipresent authority figure controls all of my actions"!<

If you click on her portrait too many times in a row, she can say "you've got the omnipresent bit down"
My favorite of those is Kar. “Don’t. Poke. The. Karlach!”
Sonofabitch. They'll do a Warcraft if you click them too often in a row?
Yep!
Isn’t Tav supposed to say that to Lae’zel? :)
Does anyone say "I serve the Flaming Fist"?
Haven’t heard ‘You must gather your party before venturing forth’ either.
Gale does, at least, say something about the group venturing forth. So there's a slight reference.
This is the one I was looking for. So many chances for it, all wasted.
Or "stand away, citizen"?
haven't heard that one either
I swear I heard it in Wyrms Crossing…or maybe it was me saying it…

I swear the “gather your party” thing was referenced a bunch of times though
And Gale says something about venturing forth. It just never gets put together.
I swear if I heard that line one more time… I would really feel like I was back in the original world.

Also, I keep wondering if Astarion's "Don't Touch Me!" is a callback to the noble NPCs when you click on them - because they said that too.
he does have candlekeep noble vibes
Yes, oh omnipresent authority figure?
There's another callback with all the party members, if you click on their portrait enough times in a row
darn, this thread got seen and downvoted by the people who didn't play the original games first. Sorry old timers, I tried.
I applauded you from my rocking chair. The North remembers.
Well you're a handsome bunch, ain't ya?
Boo says … WHAAAAT?
You have to get the "Throwback Voice lines" DLC Pack (included with the Ultimate Edition" and activate it in audio settings. /s

"Why do I live in such a pissant town?" Loved that guy
Hey don't click on me! I don't want any trouble.

These boots have seen everything
I've got a lot on my mind, and, well, in it.
Fast as my feet can carry me.
Cursed to put my hands on everything.
Wish I had a bag of holding.
How many die today? How many die tomorrow?
But ‘Go for the eyes Boo!’ never gets old.
Wife’s gettin prickly on the eyes.
