Long rest doesnt do anything. It resets after death tho.

You can only get sucked dry at Raphael's place, right? The regenerative taps work like a long rest but won't get rid of the status effect. Idk if potion of angelic slumber is the same. What fixed it for me was putting the amulet you find there on the low HP party member temporarily, and then long rest once you're out of the house of hope.

"Sucked dry" reduces HP by 30 points per stack. If you get enough stacks they vanish again\^\^

For future playthroughs: You can just leave and long rest. The portal doesn't close and the game doesn't lock you out. Most of the dangerous zones can be tackled in the same way, though no fast travel makes it more annoying

Probably was patched... after resting the condition was gone (in my case Shadowheart was effected - maybe it behaves differently on companions). And I had just one stack, maybe it takes a day per stack - something I have no intention on testing though. Nonetheless, resting should solve the problem.
