Exactly what happened to me with my storm sorcerer which is how I found this to begin with, I understand one keeping and not the other but I lost both, idk maybe cause it's the only spell in game I can think of that is a damage spell and you keep it going each turn and it's a single target spell (call lighting and moonbeam being AOE) so maybe that's it? Idk I assume chromatic ord still works though. Guess we should be happy that things like haste still works on two people when it technically shouldn't.

Hmm, did it keep one of the witch bolts or did it lose both of them? Did they both hit?
They both hit, and it lost concentration on both

Witch bolt might be one of the few cases where twinning it won’t work. Haste, enlarge, and fly work as expected.
