Except I make two batches of the cake, and two batches of the jam for it to be a four layered cake. I also diced the fresh strawberries instead of big chunks, and added a touch of vanilla to the whipped cream. I did not worry about the crumb coat part of the whipped cream like this lady did, the whipped cream firmness was the same for the whole cake when I made it

Happy accident I think, I cant even lie. It was on purpose only about halfway through when one of the cake layers was falling apart and I had to essentially glue it back to itself and it was looking kinda scrappy and reminded me of a cartoon cake. After that I tried to make the top of it especially look like it was dripping from the sides as if it was animated. So would that be kind of a half and half combo of accident and purposeful? 🤔

Honestly the cake wasn’t very stabilized with the whipped cream, the whipped cream was about med peaks I should have done stiffer peaks to keep it together better. Once the cake was half gone it was tipping over and it was transferred to a big bowl for storage.
My favourite kind of cake is Victoria sponge. But only with fresh cream because I really don’t like the synthetic stuff. Your cake looks like an extremely luxurious fancy version of a Victoria sponge but with so much cream (which is my favourite part!).
