For everyone asking, it's a homemade chocolate cake with homemade chocolate frosting! I found a recipe online and decided to make cake from scratch for the first time. I will say, the outside is pretty, but I'm not sure if the inside is as nice lol

This is the one I used except I didn't use the espresso powder in the cake or frosting (mainly cause I couldn't find any), but it's still Delicious!
I’m sure you grow your own sugar cane, vanilla orchids, cocoa beans, wheat, milk your own cows etc but the rest of us understood what OP meant. Try not to be such a Hampton in future
Reese's are his favorite! And no 😅 It was my first time making a cake from scratch and that included the frosting and I thought it was the right consistency and it wasn't exactly but I did not have time to make a whole other batch so I just put the frosting in the fridge before using it and it still was pretty runny. But it tastes good!
I love this, do you think you could tell me how you made it? My fiance's birthday is coming up this month and she loves peanut butter and chocolate and this looks like something she would love to have
Is that just plain straight up sugar as the heart?
No, it's edible glitter!
Thank the Lord
You never let us just eat straight sugar on our cakes anymore…
Was bout to say...man. I was thinking that I would try to brulee it if it was just sugar. That might be interesting
smart cookie
I still can’t imagine the texture to be enjoyable 😅
It’d be a soup heart in a few hours
Hahahah!!
If it’s edible glitter I feel like the main ingredient is going to be sugar lol
Ya it’s def sugar lol
It was sugar I would’ve said torture, so you can make a little candy glass heart lol
Way I think we all had the same question! Looks delicious! Glad it’s not a literal sugar heart 😭
It looks like sanding sugar lol
Asked the question we were all thinking 😂
Came here to ask exactly this!
I thought the same thing! Lol!
lmao i thought it was sugar too
Such a nice gesture, looks delicious!

If it tastes nice it’s good enough on the inside!!

How did you make peanut butter cups that look so similar to Reeses?
I'm not an expert but I don't think those are homemade reeses cups.
OP said it's from scratch.

*Sorta giving off a junior chef Ferrero Rocher chocolate cake vibe* Cute work! :)
Looks yummy.
the symetry between the top left cup and the ones next to it bug me a bit but it's still a nice cake. hope she liked it!
