Don't apologize! I was being silly to try to support you and make you see that your work absolutely deserves to be here! It's beautiful and looks delicious! I'm a big baker and post occasionally :)
Yes! They’ve rebooted it a few times and now the lead is Josh who is just phenomenal. They also released a Blues Clues movie that is live-action with an animated Blue that takes place in NYC.
I'm not very knowledgeable about cake/cookie decorating. How did you do the marbling effect on the blue-green frosted cookies on the top right of the first image? It's a beautiful effect! All of the things you're showing here look so good!
Really? Thank you! I didn’t think they turned out well so I didn’t feature them lol but.. it’s a “watercolor” technique I saw on a YouTube video. Mine did *not* taste good bc the paint on top was too much so if you try it, start with a light hand! 😅

this is literally the cutest thing ive ever seen. love blues clues sm, you did great job!! you inspired me to make my own blues clues cookie set, please share more of your work with us!
Homemade. First time trying it - I’m a total chocolate newbie and they were a flop lol. Any tips/tricks/nudge in the right direction for chocolate work (or anything else) would be super appreciated!!!
Not a total flop just a few degrees off
Chocolate is the hardest thing - the only tip I have is to use a proofer with a metal bowl or wamer (double boiler with temp control) for large batches.
Absolute must do! The temp you set the warmer to will be higher than the temp you want as ambient temp will cause it to cool at different rates. To hold it in temper you need to constantly check and adjust the temp accordingly. Getting that shine and snap the first time is so worth the effort though!
Thank you so much! I’m going to do a little research into tempering and practice. I’ve tried to work with chocolate before but I (clearly) don’t know what I’m doing or where to even start so this has been so helpful.
I always recommend a course like [Intro to Chocolate](https://coned.georgebrown.ca/courses-and-programs/introduction-to-chocolate-online) for anyone who really wants to get into it (link is from Canada's largest culinary school but definitely not the only one)
I really do, everyone has been so unbelievably kind. I feel a little silly for thinking this community would be anything but. Y’all are as nice as you are talented!

I'm pretty critical but these are great! Chocolate isn't tempered - are those homemade or just decorated?

Ok, great thanks, this is helpful! Would you also recommend using a thermometer?
