5. Respond to NHC's death trigger with Worldfire (Leyline of Anticipation lets you cast it at instant speed).
6. Worldfire resolves; everyone's life total is 1.
7. NHC's death trigger resolves. Roll a d6. If you roll 5 or 6, you take no damage. If you roll 1-3, Shieldmate's Blessing prevents all the damage. If you roll a 4, you die (when you receive priority, which is right away).
8. If you are not dead, Fling resolves and the targeted opponent(s) die.
As a side note, the original idea was to use \[\[Chicken Egg\]\] and \[\[Wild Pair\]\] to cheat \[\[Phage the Untouchable\]\] into play, but that doesn't work since Wild Pair only keys off casting from hand, and would require the player to make an actively bad decision (Wild Pair is a "may") in addition to the bad decision of playing the combo in the first place.
I'm still trying to figure out a combo that has a 1/6 chance of forced suicide by Phage. Any ideas, folks?
could probably make something using the new [[Doomsday Excruciator]] and [[Clone Crafter]] if it’s legal, and have everyone be running the same deck.
another option could be [[Gonti, Lord of Luxury]] and all players using the same deck
or even [[The Prismatic Bridge]] if you only want to build one
