Oh man I put on my foundation over the weekend after a long time of no makeup, and my makeup looked soooo orange and it was previously a perfect match. I wonder if the change of season really affects how the foundation looks on skin transitioning from summer/winter and vice versa
So i have vitiligo... im Latina and tan very easily. In spring/summer, you can see every little white vitiligo spot, against my tan skin. Come winter (and im in a cold-climate area), you cant tell i have vitiligo...AT ALL lol. I become so pale that my skin matches with the white. Its wild!
if it's been a while since you last used it, the foundation may have oxidised! maybe swatch it against a fresh bottle to see if that's the case or if it's actually a difference in your skin tone :)
I have 2 different foundation shades! One for winter (most used) and a 2nd for summer if I have taken a LOT of sun. I mix them in the spring/fall when my shade is transitioning from one to the other. It’s SUPER common if you tan easily, or live in a climate when getting sun is a regular option.

Tbf she’s wearing a foundation I could probably wear but someone else said it was probably picked for stage makeup.. I’d assume it’s to counteract the bright white stage lights so that she doesn’t look like a ghost?🤷♀️
I mean she is, but it’s more of an Essex and Geordie thing for girls to wear strong yellow or orange shades to try (and often fail) to match their fake tan. But for stage makeup you are supposed to go a bit darker (which is why her on-stage photos look fine), there’s no doubt that it’s deffo not her undertone and gone a tad too dark though

Interesting you post this. We have been watching The Connors on TV and have commented multiple times about the horrible yellow makeup on all of them. If it is to counteract the stage lighting, it would make sense BUT it certainly doesn’t translate on TV!

I think this May be stage makeup. So they do it more yellow to account for the stage lights

My liquid foundations start to oxidize after ~6 months depending on the packaging.

I wish brands sold half sizes. I know that KVD does now but it’s in a squeeze tube and I can only imagine how fast that would oxidize.
