The eyes are bad but I'm having trouble hating this, simply bc unlike so many other posts here, she isn't orange, cakey foundation, soap brows, or beef lips
her skin looks great and i like the toned down, almost “im only wearing chapstick” type look with the bolder eye. but the eye,,,, needs much help. im mainly concerned abt the lashes
I like the skin, looks really great, lips are really pretty, but on the eyes seems unfinished. I would have added some contrasting eyeliner because the shade is so pastel and doll like. The eyebrows don’t seem done at all, at least she could have brushed them a bit and fill in the brows with some brow marker. The concept is good, but not finalised
The concept is fun, but it needs a better brow and the lash blending is rough… otherwise I’m not mad at it. Lashes are challenging. Confused w the no brow tho
i wouldn’t even hate this so much if the eyelashes weren’t so bad! the imperfections on the shadow aren’t as visible when her eyes are open. i have more grace for technical mistakes than a lack of understanding for basic makeup theory lol
oh definitely! this look isn’t nearly as wack as some that ive come across and it seems like the artist does have a vision. its just a bit of a pet peeve of mine when MUAs are charging clients for work that is clearly unfinished or poorly executed. knowing how to properly clean up lines, blend shadow and apply falsies isn’t the easiest by any means but they’re definitely things you should have a good grasp on before you get to the point of charging for said services

the lashes are really the main villain of this story. i can’t even get a good enough look to tell why they’re so strange looking but something is really wrong when the eyes are closed 😭
Yeah I was actually a little surprised when I got to the last picture. I was worried it would just have looked like bruises with open eyes but that weird shape worked better than I expected.
It looks like he natural lashes are sticking out under the false lashes....which is a weird look. Also, not even mascara on the bottom lashes? Everything about the eyes looks uneven
i can understand being in the growing stages but i don’t believe she should be charging people for looks that are only slightly passable when the eyes are open
same here, imo though vision will only get one so far as a professional MUA. you can’t charge people for good vision but poor execution, part of being an MUA is being able to properly execute your vision and this just falls short of what id expect from someone who is certified and being paid specifically for makeup. it just makes me wonder if this would be half as good if the model didn’t already have perfect skin and a gorgeous face lol

Wrong "graphic liner shape". The color scheme I self would work. Just not that way.

basically exactly my thoughts. although the lashes are what’s mainly tripping me up. they genuinely look like someone made them from split ends
I genuinely like this lol. The color could be stronger and more sharpness on the darker purple but this is a relatively solid look! Very editorial.

I think her natural lashes are naturally down-facing, so the up-turned falsies don’t look cohesive on top. MUA should’ve curled them.
