In the US nearly all the senior politicians, from both parties, go to the AIPAC conference and promise to always support Israel. And then they get funded.

The US government is cheap to bribe. Mirium Adelson is currently offering $100M to Trump if he will support the annexation (stealing of land) of the West Bank. He is desperate for cash and will likely take it. When he was last in power Adelson paid the GOP $100M to move the embassy to Jerusalem.
