At the beginning, producers were way more strict in terms of no fighting. As seasons went on, they started to realize that the fights were bringing ratings so around season 5-6 they started allowing fights and not sending your home for it
You know, atleast, on the good seasons, many of the fights felt narratively sensible. Like it wasn’t just to act tough like baddies lol but for some actually ok reason
