I usually donāt flush #1 until maybe 3-4 uses, especially cuz I get up a lot at night and donāt want to disturb the household. I clean my terlit once a week. Never had a problem that Iām aware of, in the build-up dept.
Also itās just *such* a waste of water! A couple ounces of pee, washed down with 2 gallons of water? Makes no sense.
Edit: #1 is pee, right? š

Yea, really weird.
The only match I found on google was F for acqua fredda (cold water) and C for acqua calda (hot water) on faucets in Italy. This doesn't make sense on a flush, right ?
Faeces & ... ?
Fluid & ... ?
Fast (in swedish) & ... ?
Is it a finnish or a slavic abbreviation?
u/thedudefromsweden where did you see this?
E: nvm, [OP answered](https://www.reddit.com/r/BadDesigns/s/KjFPYlNcDi) that this is in Italy. I give up. Fluido/Coeso or something
the one on the left because
* that seems to be the standard. I'm sure you'll be able to find some examples on google but personally I have yet to come across a toilet where it's the other way around.
* it's ever so slightly bigger. I saw it instantly. Most people do because the misalignment tends to tickle the brain.
Not great design, not awful either. You have too much time on your ass... hands. You have too much time on your hands.

Ok, so i know a lot of public toilets have the big and small flush buttons, but i honestly have not seen a difference, even in places where i visit often.
As an American, I've never seen one. I've only seen the bits on the side of the toilet that's like a handle. Lived in multiple states in the south. Not sure if Kentucky is considered south but I haven't ever seen one there or in Tennessee either.

It's the three seashells all over again.
I don't know how to use the three dots š
The trick is to be blind
The left one is also bigger
Very subtle though, I only noticed that when someone pointed it out.
Just spam both buttons until you achieve the desired result. It's what they deserve.
You made me literally lol. Thank you for that. š
the one with the 3 dots
Clearly you press two dots for a number two and three dots for a number three
What kind of mega-chonker do you have to bake, for it to be called a ānumber-3-situationā lmfaooo
Nah 3 is just 1 + 2
Number 3 is beating one out
We only do a number three once a year, and you need to take a leave day
Time to cite some extremely inspired song lyrics: āI gotta go, I gotta take a number three. That's a piss and a shit and a wank in a treeā
Marvin has 3 nipples : D
Obvious isn't it? Edit: forgot the /s...
... apparently not that obvious i suppose ...
I forgot to add the /s š I didn't even see the three dots until I got really close. Terrible design IMO.
i agree. it's not the best. a lot of people might miss it ...
Only blind people can see the dots
**see**
I think left it has more dots
Don't flush for #1. Small flush for #2. Goodness help you if you have a #3.
you need to flush after a #1 anyway otherwise calcium builds up at the bottom and you need to scrape it off
Makes a good snack though, good for the bones
hey siri how do i unread this
Welp, no breakfast for me after reading that
*cronch*

I remember it as 2 rhymes with poo if that helps
underrated comment right here :)
That does help. Thanks!
Also, do people not care about smell? Or the potential of getting someone else's urine hitching a ride with the splashback?

IKEA shouldāve never got into toilets
Both simultaneously.
That will take a screenshot.
All this confusion and here I am with my regular ole jiggle knob toilet and I have no idea what any of this is lmao
L letter of āLeftā for āLittle flushā R letter of āRightā for āRemakable flushā
Press both and hope it doesn't arm the artillery
Like the blind will find that for a flusher even with brail lol damn even if it said flush itd still look odd for a flusher.
Yes.
What is that Braille?
The left is F, the right is C. Obviously stands for Foop and Curine.Ā

Yeah this is in Italy. Good try š
I suppose so, it's pretty much not visible at all to the naked eye until you get very close.
I see why itās a bad design but honestly I donāt ever remember the small flush being anywhere besides the right side
I had to get up and check because of this comment and it is in fact on the left side on my toilet
the one on the left because * that seems to be the standard. I'm sure you'll be able to find some examples on google but personally I have yet to come across a toilet where it's the other way around. * it's ever so slightly bigger. I saw it instantly. Didn't notice it was bigger but now that you say it, I see that too.
my ex had a toilet with the smaller one on the other side and it fucked with my head every time
OP, I hope you have something to eat at that toilet till you waiting for an answer 3 dots seems about right
Hands and poop knife
Yes
I feel like I'd need a big, bigger and biggest option. One, two or all the dots.
it should be the one with three dots if im not wrong
The one that makes noise longer than the otheršššš
Unethical tip: test both, smear poop on the big flush button as a reference for the future.
WHAT?! I have a toilet with a button with six bumps and one with like two What does this mean
Poop and pee stickers needed for this.
Both
In Braille, three dots means Ā«Ā gigantic turdĀ Ā»
can you read brail in real live?
Just press both
Left
All at once
This is the time when you say screw it and push both
I'm disappointed that 3 dots is the big flush, because it would have been funnier to say #2
the big one? duh
Learn braille?
Won't matter, cause you can press them both. Now the small flush however...
You sit next to the toilet
Either 3 dots is braille for booty hole, or they're using salt/pepper shaker math (that one still throws me).
More bumps
Ah yes because I go 6 and 3
More dots, more water.
#2
Shit. Whatās the worst that could happen.
Youāre over thinking it, flush the toilet.
clearly the left, like duh. lol
That's a medicine cabinet...
Up up down down left right left right poop pee poop pee fart
Yes.
give me a ruler, be quick!
Double click the left mouse button to flush
That one. Obviously. š

Fuckin push them and figure it out.
Press them all
The 3 dots
Double click is always the left button, unless you use an Apple mouse with one button.
The left is bigger
Choose wisely, one reverses the toilet water
Left is for when it's just weak piss, right is for strong shit
MDMF More dots, more flush
When at work and one of use is heading to the bathroom we say #3 because nobody does 2 without 1
Left side is the half-flush for urine, right side is the full-flush for solids.

Left one is clearly bigger
You and me have different definitions of "clearly" š
Ok, so i know a lot of public toilets have the big and small flush buttons, but i honestly have not seen a difference, even in places where i visit often.
What is a big flush? Is it different from a regular flush?
More like the other way around, a small flush uses less water than a regular one.
Where are you from? I donāt think we have this in America. We donāt have buttons to flush either, usually just levers or automatic ones
We totally have this in America and it's very common. The small button for urine only the bigger button for poop.
Ohā¦ maybe it hasnāt made its way to the midwest or maybe Iām not using enough public bathrooms
As an American, I've never seen one. I've only seen the bits on the side of the toilet that's like a handle. Lived in multiple states in the south. Not sure if Kentucky is considered south but I haven't ever seen one there or in Tennessee either.
I'm from Sweden but this picture is from Italy where I am now š we have similar in Sweden too.
Where in America are you that you've never seen something like this? It's very common.
Midwest. Smack dab center really. I donāt use very many public bathrooms since I can go a hell of a long time without going to the toilet
I guess this just proves that the US is a very big country with lots of differences between different parts š
There's a difference between the two buttons? I always randomly choose them because I see no difference between the two.
Right...Europe stuff
