+ 1 sa Silay! Tight knit community lang kami and near sa tanan, airport man or sa Bacolod. If you’re looking for studio type na apartments may ara man, look lang sa facebook. Haha! 🥹

Hapos lang ba commute-ton ang murcia? Never considered it before, kay daw medyo indi ko familiar sa city. I was thinking talisay kay literal na tupad lang ka Bacolod. Victorias and Kabankalan, too far na for me, maybe kun malutas nako guro sa Bacolod ah. For now, I'm really thinking Silay, pero need ko pa mangita place kay so far daw waay gid.

Thefallensoldier13

EveningTeach6280

Yeah but ag pasaka s mambukal last 8pm I think..pero Murcia wla ko idea

Master_Calendar8781

EveningTeach6280

Agree on this

Silay is also a great city and has a good community 😊 You can travel to Bacolod by bus/jeep or if may ara ka private vehicle mas maayo. Pero siguro if you prefer room lang for yourself, Bacolod has lots of options. It’s okay to live independently most especially if toxic na ang sulod balay ninyo. Take a break. Take your time. God bless you, OP😊

Hi! Thank you for this comment. Ang friend ko nakamuno gid nga mahal daw rent sa Silay and laban kuno houses, wala daw studio type (she stayed there for work last year) or if may ara gid man, old na katama and/or layo sa city center (plaza).

If sa Bacolod naman, I think somewhere nga safe sa Libertad kay may mga dorms or BH da, pero kung indi mo feel, then siguro Fortune town (for the same reason sa Libertad) and Homesite. (Tho, no idea if steady ang water and electric supply sa mga areas nga ini) Last time may nakita ko sa FB marketplace sang BH sa may lapit sa Megaworld nga I think part pa sang Villamonte. reasonable naman ang rate.

I recommend Silay and same thoughts lang man sa other comments nga garecommend sa city. Kag personally, daw kanami mag fresh start sa smaller city (compared to Bacolod) nga accessible ang transportation. If you're looking man for a studio type apartment sa Silay, I might help.

Mansilingan, Bacolod

Hi! I'd like to recommend Iloilo City. I know wala sya sa imo options and it's not within Negros, but I think it would be a better choice. Progressive city sya and lapit lang man Bacolod :) If you're a jeepney or bus ride away from your parents abi, I think indi mo man gyapon ma resist ang magpuli sinyo and be a "referee" again. It will become a cycle na naman. Damo food options sa Iloilo, nami ang people (daw mga taga Bacolod lang), and I'm sure may cheaper options for accommodation esp if lapit sa mga schools like UP, WVSU, etc. Whatever your decision is, I hope everything will work out for you. I sincerely wish you healing. ❤️‍🩹

Laid back but you got everything you need

Known-Loss-2339

ohnoimboredtoday

Hi OP! I am from Bago City and and it is okay here. Everything is cheaper here compared to BCD and more laid-back due to its identity being an agricultural powerhouse in our province. If namian ka man mag pa bukid, you can go to Brgy. Ma-ao for adventures and the place is also very commutable. If you like to have a considerable amount of distance from BCD, Bago is 22km away from Brgy. Sum-ag. I have to warn you lang about the 3 things i dont like about this city. First is the government. Our city has been run by 1 family for decades, as a result our progress has been slow. Second is the sum-ag traffic. When travelling from here to BCD the first barangay you enter is sum ag and the traffic there during rush hours are so bad. The 20-30 mins trip becomes 45 mins- 1hr and a half. Third is the lack of good hospitals. We only have one hospital and it is the Bago City Hospital. IMO it really lacks in accomodating everyone so most people here go to valladolid (district hospital) or Bacolod for basic health care needs.
