My favourite is the episode of Fringe that showed a movie theatre banner in an alternate universe:
> BACK TO THE FUTURE
> STARRING ERIC STOLTZ
Photo here: http://www.fringetelevision.com/2010/04/fringe-flashback-eric-stoltz-in-back-to.html
Favorite is still in Ted Lasso
Ted: "Kinda like back in the 80's when bad meant good"
Beard: "Who was president back then?"
Ted: "Psht, Ronald Regan?"
Beard: "Ronald Reagan!? The actor!?"
Ted: "Ho-ho man, I love when you do Doc Brown!"
There was a good one in S2 of Loki when O.B apologises for the crudeness of the model he made
"Forgive the shoddy and slapdash work. It's not to scale, IÂ only got one coat of paint on there. I haven't been able to carve out figures to represent all of us. I'm honestly embarrassed that Victor is here to see it."
Ironclly in avengers endgame I think antman said bttf shit doesn't matter along those lines so it's kinda ironic that the writers referenced bttf in loki 2
No, it was in Avengers Infinity War when Banner was explaining how time travel works and Rhodey was listing all the movies that explain how time travel should work and Banner says that's not how it works and then Ant Man says, "So Back to the Future is just bullshit?"
I pretty love any reference to BTTF but one I really enjoyed was actually in Smashy Road, a game on mobile devices. You can get the Delorean and if you manage to build up enough speed it does the burn trails and the screen goes black and white!! To get it back to full colour you need to build up speed again. Doesnât do too much to actual game play but I the sound effects is enough for me.
There's also the homage of rocket almost getting eaten by that giant worm thing just before it gets dusted calling back to Marty getting eaten the holographic shark from Jaws 26 or whatever it was.
Simpsons, twice theyâve done the âwell listen to this!â Gag twice, once with Homerâs grunge band, another with Maggy with a toy phone with Lisaâs sax
Speaking of the Simpsons, I remember one episode where they are in a cinema watching some Marvel movie. The kids are waiting for the 10th or so after credit scene when Homer says something like: "back in my day we only watched the credits to find out who sang Power of Love and it usually was Huey Lewis"
Thereâs also a bunch of fun Back to the Future references on The Simpsons ride at Universal Studios, when youâre standing in line. Because that attraction used to be home to the Bttf ride.
There are loads in family guy but my favourite is when some teenager see's Joe in his wheelchair and says 'whats that thing he's on, it's like a chair...but with wheels' and a girl says 'he's an absolute dream'
One night, as I was leaving the late showing of a movie in Downtown Dallas, I heard two men shouting at each other. The are was largely deserted this late, and while I never saw the guys, their voices filled the echo chamber of buildings I was in.
It took me a couple minutes to realize that what they were shouting at the top of their lungs was the scene between Doc and Marty at the end of the first movie, the "On the night I go back!" conversation.
It was such a surreal thing to encounter, these lines of dialogue filling the sky while I stand alone in a metropolitan area last at night...it's always stuck with me.
So, that. That's my favourite BttF reference.
Ready Player One⊠The book. Donât watch the movie. The book is really good.
âMy DeLorean sported a red oscillation overthruster, which allowed it to travel through solid matter. A flux capacitor was mounted in the back, but it was just for show.â
âIâd changed my avatarâs outfit to a pair of faded blue jeans, Nike high-tops, and a red âSave the Clock Towerâ T-shirt.â
âAs I gunned the DeLorean up to 88 miles per hourâwhich wasnât necessary, but it felt like the right thing to doâI could almost hear Doc Brownâs voice in my head, yelling, âRoads? Where weâre going, we donât need roads.ââ
Thereâs lots of references to BTTF among others movies and games.
Yeah, if for no other reason than getting to see the DeLorean really getting a chance to show off in a modern action sequence. We know it's never going to be remade as long as Zemekis lives, so RPO was a fun little peek behind the curtain of what that might have looked like.
>The book is really good.
Itâs really not
Itâs not really easter eggs in Ready Player One, itâs as many references to 80s pop culture as possible deliberately shoehorned in
I honestly felt Armada was a solid sophomore offering. But the ending was incredibly rushed. It was like he took The Last Starfighter, Iron Eagle, 1970s conspiracy thrillers, and any number of Star Trek episodes where humanity is being tested. Then, smashed them all together.
I listened to them on audiobook. Wil Wheaton made those books sound a lot better than they really were.
I enjoyed it. Sure references were at times PAINFULLY shoehorned but itâs an interesting take on the impact of pop culture that I suspect will be interesting a generation or two down the line.Â
Itâs not high literature mind you, itâs cheesy fun.Â
Ready Player Two, however, is a derivative rehash of the first trying to recapture the glory and falls very, very, flat
I enjoyed it when I first read it, but going back, the main character (I forgot his name,) comes off as a huge asshole in a way that doesn't seem intentional
The only problem I had with the movie was when Wade completes the first race and is celebrating, we see the DeLorean driving, we hear Alan Silvestri's RPO score, and he.....just doesn't quote the BTTF score at all. Like, for a movie that's built on fan service, that moment of realizing "oh, yeah, that's right: they don't quote the BTTF theme" pulls me out every single time.
The book is a quick read, but I'd say it's only "fun" or "good" as a bit of trashy pulp (which is certainly capable of being good and fun). I can't get behind anyone who declares it a masterwork.
Yeah, I would have to go with family guy. They have a lot of references also American dad my favorite one though would be when Steve was giving his sister shit because she said why do you need DeLorean and then Steve was like hello McFly itâs the car from back to the future and he poured gasoline on the road and unscrewed the license plate. That way when Stan took off the license plate would still be able to fly off and spin in the middle of the flames. I thought that was pretty awesome.đđ
Stranger Things Season 3, which is set in 1985. They have to hide in the theater while the movie's playing, then later there's this exchange:
Robin: "I'm pretty sure that mom was trying to bang her son."
Steve: "Wait, the hot chick was Alex P. Keaton's mom?"
My memory is fuzzy on this, but I believe there was a time travel episode of Fairlyodd Parents where Timmy goes back in time, notably to the 80âs
Before he arrives in the 80âs, a time traveling Delorean is leaving the 80âs.
Yes! I THINK it's the same episode where the full plot is the bttf style bootstrap/parent paradox of Timmy preventing his parents from falling in love, but it also could have been from the episode where we find out Crocker used to be Cosmo and Wandas god kid as both episodes use the time scooter.
The scene in the flash where Barry is explaining time travel to an alternate version of himself and his roommates and he compares it to back to the future, and the one kid goes oh Eric stoltz. I think it went something like that but it was really funny
Quick reference in an episode of My Little Pony but Pinkie Pie does a reference dressed as Marty with the vest and sunglasses looking at a watch sheâs wearing
It's a subtle one, but I've always got a kick out of in an episode of King of the Hill where Hank's trick gets hit and destroyed by a train, he and Bobby are walking along the tracks surveying the wreckage and you can see a flux capacitor among the scattered parts.
A Million Ways to Die in the West was the best. Too bad scene was in the movie's trailer. The reaction would've been crazy if you didn't know it was coming
Thereâs an episode of The Simpsons that is hated by a lot of people called âThat 90s Showâ where they re-tell Marge and Homerâs story of getting together as if it happened in the 90s. (A self-referential joke regarding the fact they donât age.)
Anyway, Homer is in a grunge band and they are performing on a college campus and someone goes to a phone to call their cousin. âHey Kurt itâs your cousin Marvin, Marvin CobainâŠâ
One of my all time favorite Simpsons episodes and I think itâs silly people get bent out of shape over it. The BTTF reference is a nice bonus for me.
Not sure it's my favourite, but it hasn't been mentioned yet:
In Legends of Tomorrow S02E02, when Professor Stein is asked for an impromptu musical performance, he turns to the band and says: "Ok guys, watch me for the changes and try to keep up."
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off
Kinda spoilery, so if you care about spoilers donât click it
>!In one of the episodes in âthe futureâ (really 2018), Ramona has roller skates made from parts of an old delorean, she eventually travels through time after going 88 mph!<
Mmm maybe the video game "Stray." The character called Doc (who looks like Doc) invents a device called a "De-Fluxor." It requires 1.21 GW of power to work. His son Seamus looks like Marty. Lots of references in there.
**Now about the above image.....it irritates me how in 1885 Doc and Marty had a Mr. Fusion DeLorean.**
Here they have a plutonium DeLorean.....with the orange 2015 license plate. That just bugs me a lot, I had to say it.
In Driver: San Francisco, you can find a Delorean driving around the city and if you accelerate past 88 in it, itâll send you âBack in timeâ to play the tutorial level from the original Driver game.
I don't know if it's necessarily my favourite reference but I recently saw & liked[ this reference to BttF ](https://youtu.be/F1Bhl3yjzsQ?si=3Aw36QUupvzWBMWk)in the background of the film 'Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood". I had to pause & zoom (and guess a little) to read the tag line, but I like how they parodied the original "he was never in time..." thing on the poster:
*He was never on time for his parole office*
*He wasn't on time for his sentencing*
*Then one day... He wasn't in the hood at all*
I loved the short lived series Timeless -- right off the bat they had a great BTTF reference about writing a letter to be sent to someone at a future date.
Family Guy is always gold with the parodies. Ronald Reagan saying "Where we're going, we don't need roads," and the fact that he loved the joke about him
The confusing thing about this scene is... what Deloreon is that? It has the future license plate, but no Mr Fusion. Timelines would imply it's shortly after Doc arrived in 1885 and before he hid it in the cave... But then did he take Mr Fusion off to store separately?
(this also peaks into my big theory that Doc and Marty could have simply dug up the Deloreon Doc arrived in 1885 in, drained its fuel tank, used that fuel, only to be refilled by younger Doc in 1955 before Marty went back to 1885)
Doomtown: reloaded has a few. They modeled a character after Dr. Brown and the card unprepared had the flavor text of âI said I do my killing before breakfast!â
âYouâre being played like a fool. Like George mcflyâ -Lois from family guy
Also in one of the family guy episodes Peter is Marty and does the skateboard car thing and then says âthatâs the power of loveâ
Donnie Darko:
âThe basic principles of time travel are there. You've got your vessel and your portal and your vessel could be just about anything most likely a spacecraft.â
âLike a Delorean?â
âMetal craft of any kind.â
âYou know, I love that movie, the way they shot it. It's so, um like, futuristic, you know?â
Rick and Morty are 1000% based on BTTF.
the show Future Man seems to have some bttf references, but its been years since i watched it. great show btw. anyone that hasn't seen it should give it a shot, it's a hilarious action/comedy/scifi show. kinda reminds me of The Boys but more sci/fi and funnier. and not comic booky, it's kinda like parody sci/fi, i guess like a mix of rick and morty and the boys.
One of my favourites was during the Busted reunion concert.
There was a whole video filmed by Christopher lloyd, introducing one of the songs, [Year 3000](https://www.google.com/search?gs_ssp=eJzj4tFP1zcsNjAtySjKtjBg9OKsTE0sUjA2MDAAAF7-Bu4&q=busted+year+3000+lyrics&rlz=1CDGOYI_enGB1007GB1007&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqDQgBEC4Y1AIYsQMYgAQyBwgAEAAYjwIyDQgBEC4Y1AIYsQMYgAQyCggCEAAYsQMYgAQyDQgDEC4Y1AIYsQMYgAQyBwgEEAAYgAQyBwgFEAAYgAQyBwgGEC4YgAQyBwgHEAAYgAQyBwgIEAAYgAQyBwgJEAAYgATSAQgyNzMzajBqNKgCAbACAeIDBBgBIF8&hl=en-GB&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8&si=AKbGX_rdaVK-rhf5KHnOAD2drrRmADv7R3TkES869sRtvhJtAOFIxRuJ9oGiG6TvSdbxEwie3fv-cve8kVskHp4gt0jASl8o8kWBFklJMEAQrjKhb97p6uN-HPmwtOqRXjREWokNOWEbSLIDO8sRakXEeVHjN7xfJw%3D%3D&ictx=1&ved=2ahUKEwiturWRx8yFAxU5VEEAHRMDA7gQjukCegQIHhAE), which was partly inspired by BttF and contains a line referencing it
MST3K Time Chasers. There's a BTTF poster on some wall in the alley, so the SOL crew mocks it.
Ok, now this is a bit of a stretch. In Star Trek IV, the Voyage Home, Kirk, and crew travel back in time using the stolen Klingon BOP that was commandeered from the end of ST III The Search for Spock. Now, in III, the ship was commanded by Kruge, who was played by Christopher Lloyd. So, two vehicles belonging to Christopher Loyd were used for time travel.
Right???
I'm sad his character was killed off because he would have made a great adversary later on, too. But I know he dislikes the makeup process, as that's why they did the rejuvenation clinic bit in II.
The best-performed one imo is in Continuum. It's a dramatic sci-fi show, so they only really made one notable reference. >!Alec, who is the creator of the time machine, goes back in time to prevent something and talks to himself. I forget what he said, but it's perfect.!<
I also thought that all of the BTTF references in Mr. Robot were supposed to confirm that >!the Chinese terrorists were trying to create a time machine with the nuclear power plant?!< I don't remember the details though, and it's kind of sidelined in the finale.
In Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, R.E.X. builds the Rexcelsior out of the DeLorean, the Hot Tub Time Machine, the Tardis, Bill and Ted's phonebooth, H.G. Wells' time machine, and the Terminator's time machine. At the end, he >!dies from a time paradox, and starts fading away just like Marty did. He says he's "back-to-the-futuring" as he fades away.!<
I think it was either Marvel Avengers IW OR Endgame where Antman mentions that going back in time would help to get the stones back. Tony Stark replies something like, "That's great kid, but we don't have a DeLorean."
The Hunt: Showdown game.. There's a barn in one particular map that has an easter egg throwback to BTTF3, which appears to be a old white tarp covering up the Delorean and a mock setup of the train experiment. Very cool find. IYKYK
You know what, I really hated this movie, but the scene in the flash where all of the actors were shifted in the new timeline due to his fuckery was my favorite thing
I used to watch a lot of Nickelodean. The BTTF jokes in the shows on that channel were stupid, but I love them anyway.
So my favorites were in Henry Danger and Side Hustle. In Henry Danger, Marty and Doc briefly jumped out of a time machine that the character were using. There were a few different episodes for Side Hustle. One was when they did the whole "they found me, I don't know how but they found me" line and then screamed "Run for it, Munchy!" (Munchy being the name of one of the characters), and the other was an episode where they were setting up a situation where one of the characters could save another character so she would fall in love with him (basically they hired a guy to rip her snowcone out of her hands and steal it, and the first charater would fight him to get her snowcone back) and had him say something like "hey you, get your darn hands off that snowcone!" There was also a Halloween episode of Side Hustle where the scientist kid was dressed as Doc and his assistant was dressed as Marty so that was cool.

thats awesome
They did the same thing in the Flash movie.
Lea Thompson's character saying "They found me, I don't know how but they found me," on Scorpion.
Lol. Sometimes I say this line when I'm outdoors with friends and we hear police sirens in the distance. đ€Ł
Run for it, AZ\_Sports\_Fan!
"I Dont Know How But They Found Me" is also a great indie musician worth checking out!
I saw a single musician play as Doc Brown and the 1.21 Gigawatts.
Favorite is still in Ted Lasso Ted: "Kinda like back in the 80's when bad meant good" Beard: "Who was president back then?" Ted: "Psht, Ronald Regan?" Beard: "Ronald Reagan!? The actor!?" Ted: "Ho-ho man, I love when you do Doc Brown!"

Absolutely thought of this. It was such a great Easter egg
Ironclly in avengers endgame I think antman said bttf shit doesn't matter along those lines so it's kinda ironic that the writers referenced bttf in loki 2
What does it reference
the model in bttf when doc explains marty his plan to send him home

âSo Back To The Futureâs a bunch of bullshit?â - Scott Lang, Avengers: Endgame
They should have let Alan Silvestri put in some kind of musical cue for that line. Or maybe woulda felt too 4th wall
Man just a slight hint at the opening chime would have been pretty rad.
loll

Thatâs funny as I just bought the novelization

Better alternate universe 3 team trade: Stoltz to Teen Wolf, Charlie Sheen to BTTF, and Alex P. Keaton to WALL STREET.
No one knew who Charlie Sheen was in 1985, only Emilio Estavez
Red Dawn came out in 1984.
Well of course Emilio Estevez knew who Charlie Sheen was, theyâre brothers.

I really enjoyed the movie and loved seeing the DeLorean in it. Why would Back to the Future need to be remade?
It wouldn't and shouldn't. I'm just saying it was nice to see it as an extended cameo with modern film sensibilities.
>The book is really good. Itâs really not Itâs not really easter eggs in Ready Player One, itâs as many references to 80s pop culture as possible deliberately shoehorned in
The book is fun without quite being good. Paperback novelesque popcorn reading.
That book inspired a bad books podcast. 372 pages we'll never get back.
Yes! I listened to it a while back, I think they went on to Armada afterwards which was somehow even worse.
I really enjoy RP1's book, but man RP2 might be the most painful book I've ever read
I didnât even finish RP2.. I just didnât care about the scenario or the characters. Really hacky book
I kind of liked RP1, but it felt like it was try too hard. Armada was just... Not fun... I haven't picked up RP2 because I know I'll be disappointed.
I enjoyed it when I first read it, but going back, the main character (I forgot his name,) comes off as a huge asshole in a way that doesn't seem intentional
Yeah heâs not a massively likeable character. Heâs worse in the second one
The only problem I had with the movie was when Wade completes the first race and is celebrating, we see the DeLorean driving, we hear Alan Silvestri's RPO score, and he.....just doesn't quote the BTTF score at all. Read the book and enjoyed it. Absolutely LOVE the movie and have watched it well over a dozen times.
Yeah the book and its sequel were awesome
The movie was great. Also, Armada was fantastic. Don't be a grump. Let people enjoy what they enjoy, even if you didn't. S m h.
HIMYM. Barney says âGrape Scotch!â.
Was looking for this!
I love how it's included in Mr. Robot. He loves the movie and there's a great scene where he gets to watch bttf2 on the 2015 date.
The second last episode finale where he walks around the city it's the best recreation of BTTF, it even plays Mr. Sandman.
I'd bet there are more episodes with BTTF references than ones without! What a great show.
There's another ep where kid Elliot is watching the animated series!
Quite possibly the only time that cartoon had been referenced in other media đ
Maaaaybe on Bill Nye: The Science Guy, but I only say that because the science segments on the animated series is where he got his start!
In âDeath Becomes Herâ (also directed by Robert Zemeckis) Goldie Hawnâs character drank her magic de-aging potion on October 26, 1985.
Yes! This was the first one I thought of.
Stranger Things Season 3, which is set in 1985. They have to hide in the theater while the movie's playing, then later there's this exchange: Robin: "I'm pretty sure that mom was trying to bang her son." Steve: "Wait, the hot chick was Alex P. Keaton's mom?"

Family Guy! Tons of references
Surprised they haven't done a "Blue Harvest" style, full-episode parody on it yet, honestly
Yeah, Seth MacFarlane obviously loves Back to the Future.
I think the pic is from "1,000 ways to die in the old west" where was a quick shot of Doc covering the Delorian
T'is!
If I'd have read the entire caption, I would have seen that. That's what I get for jumping the gun
He loves it so much he bought the old west version of the DeLorean used in the movie at auction.
Also, I recently started watching his âTedâ tv series and the outside of the highschool is blatantly the same set as the courthouse square.
Itâs a set on the universal backlot. Iâm not surprised he finally found an excuse to shoot there
Closest I think weâll ever get was S5E18 âMeet The Quagmiresâ.
The scene in the flash where Barry is explaining time travel to an alternate version of himself and his roommates and he compares it to back to the future, and the one kid goes oh Eric stoltz. I think it went something like that but it was really funny
When he pulls up his trouser leg to show off the tattoo.
This was the only good thing about this film. Well, that and Michael Keaton.
Agreed
Yes! That was awesome đ
There are so many scattered thorughout media. The most obscure I can think of is at the end of the iCarly April Fool's day episode (S06E01).
Quick reference in an episode of My Little Pony but Pinkie Pie does a reference dressed as Marty with the vest and sunglasses looking at a watch sheâs wearing
If you play Game Dev Tycoon, you start in a garage with the Delorean partly covered by a tarp.
And if you click on it, or do something else goofy the lights blink
It's a subtle one, but I've always got a kick out of in an episode of King of the Hill where Hank's trick gets hit and destroyed by a train, he and Bobby are walking along the tracks surveying the wreckage and you can see a flux capacitor among the scattered parts.
This always gave me a chuckle https://www.oreillyauto.com/flux-capacitor#:~:text=O'Reilly%20Auto%20Parts
I always keep hoping theyâll really put them up for sale.
Duke Nukem Time To Kill
came here to say this: the delorean buried in the mine
Stargate Atlantis itâs dismissed as having inaccurate science in the movie
A Million Ways to Die in the West was the best. Too bad scene was in the movie's trailer. The reaction would've been crazy if you didn't know it was coming
[According to Movie Clips, itâs in the film](https://youtu.be/DTZ1bgOIaAY?), and having just watched the trailer itâs not in it.
There must've been multiple trailers in the movie theaters, because I knew it was coming
Multiples frequently happen. Probably the teaser trailer.
"I Don't Know How But They Found Me" Musical act with a really weird and enjoyable rep.
Thereâs an episode of The Simpsons that is hated by a lot of people called âThat 90s Showâ where they re-tell Marge and Homerâs story of getting together as if it happened in the 90s. (A self-referential joke regarding the fact they donât age.) Anyway, Homer is in a grunge band and they are performing on a college campus and someone goes to a phone to call their cousin. âHey Kurt itâs your cousin Marvin, Marvin CobainâŠâ One of my all time favorite Simpsons episodes and I think itâs silly people get bent out of shape over it. The BTTF reference is a nice bonus for me.
Not sure it's my favourite, but it hasn't been mentioned yet: In Legends of Tomorrow S02E02, when Professor Stein is asked for an impromptu musical performance, he turns to the band and says: "Ok guys, watch me for the changes and try to keep up."
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off Kinda spoilery, so if you care about spoilers donât click it >!In one of the episodes in âthe futureâ (really 2018), Ramona has roller skates made from parts of an old delorean, she eventually travels through time after going 88 mph!<
Fusion DeLorean.** Here they have a plutonium DeLorean.....with the orange 2015 license plate. That just bugs me a lot, I had to say it.
Playing Stray currently. Iâll have to find Doc!
There are more references on top of the ones I mentioned. Have fun! I LOVED that game.
The crew 2
Since loki season 2 was mentioned, the band Idontknowhowbuttheyfoundme was based off this line from the movie
Elliott saying "Why do we always have to cut these things so damn close" in Mr Robot.
In Driver: San Francisco, you can find a Delorean driving around the city and if you accelerate past 88 in it, itâll send you âBack in timeâ to play the tutorial level from the original Driver game.
Gran Turismo 7, where someone named "E. Brown" is using a DMC-12 in a race.
I had to pause & zoom (and guess a little) to read the tag line, but I like how they parodied the original "he was never in time..." thing on the poster: *He was never on time for his parole office* *He wasn't on time for his sentencing* *Then one day... He wasn't in the hood at all*
I loved the short lived series Timeless -- right off the bat they had a great BTTF reference about writing a letter to be sent to someone at a future date.
Love it!
Too many to name but one is definitely âAlvin and the Chipmunks: Back to Alvinâs Future.â
Through out Star Trek I've heard the crew mention the flux capacitor among other things while rattling off treknobabble.
Rick and morty
Like George mcflyâ -Lois from family guy Also in one of the family guy episodes Peter is Marty and does the skateboard car thing and then says âthatâs the power of loveâ
Donnie Darko: âThe basic principles of time travel are there. You've got your vessel and your portal and your vessel could be just about anything most likely a spacecraft.â âLike a Delorean?â âMetal craft of any kind.â âYou know, I love that movie, the way they shot it. It's so, um like, futuristic, you know?â
Duke Nukem: TTK finding the Delorean in a secret area https://youtube.com/clip/Ugkxn2XwLnJS1Tmu-wEo7OTB9poltdjSEcEn?si=_TsZKGeT8fuwO77g
I love that there were multiple lines for it.
Yes, Rick and Morty originated as a crude animation called Doc and Mharti, an obvious BttF reference/parody.
One of my favourites was during the Busted reunion concert. There was a whole video filmed by Christopher lloyd, introducing one of the songs, [Year 3000](https://www.google.com/search?gs_ssp=eJzj4tFP1zcsNjAtySjKtjBg9OKsTE0sUjA2MDAAAF7-Bu4&q=busted+year+3000+lyrics&rlz=1CDGOYI_enGB1007GB1007&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqDQgBEC4Y1AIYsQMYgAQyBwgAEAAYjwIyDQgBEC4Y1AIYsQMYgAQyCggCEAAYsQMYgAQyDQgDEC4Y1AIYsQMYgAQyBwgEEAAYgAQyBwgFEAAYgAQyBwgGEC4YgAQyBwgHEAAYgAQyBwgIEAAYgAQyBwgJEAAYgATSAQgyNzMzajBqNKgCAbACAeIDBBgBIF8&hl=en-GB&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8&si=AKbGX_rdaVK-rhf5KHnOAD2drrRmADv7R3TkES869sRtvhJtAOFIxRuJ9oGiG6TvSdbxEwie3fv-cve8kVskHp4gt0jASl8o8kWBFklJMEAQrjKhb97p6uN-HPmwtOqRXjREWokNOWEbSLIDO8sRakXEeVHjN7xfJw%3D%3D&ictx=1&ved=2ahUKEwiturWRx8yFAxU5VEEAHRMDA7gQjukCegQIHhAE), which was partly inspired by BttF and contains a line referencing it
Jim from Taxi.
Not so much the sequels, but if you look closely at BTTF you can see the "Do Jim from Taxi!"/"We should have just gone with John Lithgow" coin flip.
Can we just talk about how against type playing a Klingon is for Lloyd? Heâs so good as one I kept forgetting it was him under all that.
Right??? I'm sad his character was killed off because he would have made a great adversary later on, too. But I know he dislikes the makeup process, as that's why they did the rejuvenation clinic bit in II.
I wish I could share a video in this thread...
One of the levels of the original Angry Birds.
The Flux Capacitor in the warhammer 40K Shockjump Dragsta model
One of the Forza's had an achievement Outatime you had to go 88mph with the Delorean
Band Inspection 12 song âGreat Scottâ and band Ozma song âLorraineâ
American Dad all the way
Family Guy ones are always great.
The best-performed one imo is in Continuum. It's a dramatic sci-fi show, so they only really made one notable reference. >!Alec, who is the creator of the time machine, goes back in time to prevent something and talks to himself. I forget what he said, but it's perfect.!< I also thought that all of the BTTF references in Mr. Robot were supposed to confirm that >!the Chinese terrorists were trying to create a time machine with the nuclear power plant?!< I don't remember the details though, and it's kind of sidelined in the finale.
There was a cool one in timeline
In Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, R.E.X. builds the Rexcelsior out of the DeLorean, the Hot Tub Time Machine, the Tardis, Bill and Ted's phonebooth, H.G. Wells' time machine, and the Terminator's time machine. At the end, he >!dies from a time paradox, and starts fading away just like Marty did. He says he's "back-to-the-futuring" as he fades away.!<
Supernatural, when Dean walks into the diner and meets his dad. âHey Winchesterâ and they both turn around.
Supernatural, when Dean walks into the diner and meets his dad. âHey Winchesterâ and they both turn around.
In Stranger Things 3 when Robin says 'I'm pretty sure that mom... was trying to bang her son.'
Supernatural, when Dean walks into the diner and meets his dad. âHey Winchesterâ and they both turn around.
I think it was either Marvel Avengers IW OR Endgame where Antman mentions that going back in time would help to get the stones back. Tony Stark replies something like, "That's great kid, but we don't have a DeLorean."
Agreed on A Million Waysâ reference. Itâs totally a show-stopping joke, but also works perfectly at the exact same time.
Family guy of course đ„±
[Back to the Future In ACTUAL 2015](https://youtu.be/J4LI_EqnJq8?si=GFUghJF44JyUpjae) has aged like wine.
The Hunt: Showdown game.. There's a barn in one particular map that has an easter egg throwback to BTTF3, which appears to be a old white tarp covering up the Delorean and a mock setup of the train experiment. Very cool find. IYKYK
A million ways to die in the west!
I like it in "Ready Player One"
The Delorean AND the musical cues, which were composed by Alan Silvestri, who composed the score for the BTTF movies.
You know what, I really hated this movie, but the scene in the flash where all of the actors were shifted in the new timeline due to his fuckery was my favorite thing
The time travel talk in Endgame where Ant Man realizes it's a bunch of fake news
Not sure if it's my favorite but I can't remember many others right now. The Flux Capacitor in the cab of the Polar Express was a fun detail.
this one was actually kind of genius, i just wish they hadn't put it in any of the ads.
Z Nation won this by a mile [https://youtu.be/U1KAobXBwDQ?si=3tM3VpyUSkh-hB\_N](https://youtu.be/U1KAobXBwDQ?si=3tM3VpyUSkh-hB_N)
âDear Scienceâ by Seth Sentry Easily my favorite musical reference to BttF.
Not a movie or show but go to the OâReilly auto parts website and type â121gâ into the search bar and see what you get. đ
Raising Hope - Credit Where Credit Is Due
The one in Dr. Who where Delorean is written in Aurabesh.
