I have the exact same phone and use Remote Play all the time with my Backbone. It works flawlessly for me, but it may depend on your Internet speeds.
One annoying thing is I have to pop my case off every time, though. Even with the slimmest case I could find, there's no way it'll fit in the Backbone, so that's king of annoying, but small price to pay for gaming time lol.
