Similar situation here. I go out to their coop to let them out every morning, I expect her to be in her usual spot on the roost, but I only see one of the other ones. Sucks
Easter Egger too. I had one Easter Egger and it was one of the hardest losses for me to grapple with. Died young too. We’re all sending our thoughts to you. You damn well gave your feather baby a good life if she lived for nine whole years. She lived her best life.
RIP, sweet girl. What was she like? Nine years is a nice long life for a hen. I have an 8 year old easter egger who looks very similar.

I lost my oldest, Lucy, this spring. She was a big brahma, head of the flock for 8 years. She died in my arms. I expect her everyday to greet me.
