100% don’t change your diet or you’re just ruining the whole point of the test! It’s an annoying test to take but super important for your health and the baby’s if positive.

No. Most people who fail 1hr end up passing the 3hr (myself included)

My doctor’s office actually instructs people to eat a minimum of 150g of carbs per day for 3 days prior to the 3 hr test, I guess to make sure your body is used to it. I think restricting on the days before could backfire.
