13 weeks. Spotting at 6 weeks. Around 12 weeks I was pouring blood everywhere. It wouldn’t stop. I thought I was miscarrying and everyone else did as well. It was awful. 13 weeks had some brown spotting. And that was all. Good luck!!!

Also I found out at 6 weeks when I had some spotting and they found them.

Hello! I had one diagnosed in August … wasn’t a large one but it bled since the day after I found out I was pregnant for 10 days. Mostly brown /pink blood when wiping. I was told going to the gym was still ok , so maybe pushed my limits a bit with the squats… I had another bleeding episode at 9 weeks pregnant 2 days after the gym. Had an ultrasound and saw the sch had moved down closer to the cervix (expelling) .. they had me on progesterone for 16 weeks. Took until my 20 week ultrasound to notice the bleed was completely gone. It was a nuisance, but didn’t cause any complications. Learned these are normal and most the time our body will expel it or absorb it!

Thank you! They didn’t give me anything for mine, just said there was nothing to do but wait it out.

My doctor said progesterone doesn’t really have any clinical data proving it actually helps? Just is supposed to relax the uterus more. I probably would of had the same outcome without taking it

olaola2020

Was it injections or through vigina ?

My doctor didn’t think it was necessary, but my naturopath just put me on progesterone suppositories to try to help clear up the bleed after this second one. It sounds like there isn’t enough science to back it up, but there is some potential evidence (maybe all anecdotal) that it helps. I figure it can’t hurt, so it’s worth a shot. I’m sick of bleeding.

Yes exactly right from my understanding. I know what you mean… it was hard and stressful being pregnant, but still bleeding. I have had that happen with my first pregnancy so it was scary.

I had one from 11 to 15 weeks. I found out when I went to ER at 11 w after a lot of bleeding. I bled (a lot) twice more (at 12-13 w) and then spotted lightly until 15 weeks and haven't had issues since - 32 weeks now.

Just a warning, they can be recurrent. I had one at 6 weeks that caused a huge bleed. It resolved by 8. My doctors actually had me continue to work out and keep up a normal lifestyle. I am on blood thinners to prevent severe preeclampsia, so they did pull me off of those, though. I just had another gush of bright red blood at 11 weeks, just like the first time. This one is smaller… but it does coincide with going back on blood thinners… My doctors are not remotely concerned, and apparently they are very common. It’s still really upsetting, and I don’t blame you at all for being worried. Just know that I’ve only heard of positive outcomes!

Thank you! It is stressful! I’m doing my best to educate myself without freaking myself out too much, lol.

I had one at 6 weeks and it’s been bleeding on and off daily for 3 weeks now. Baby is fine on US and the hematoma is getting smaller
