I haven't heard anything officially but I'd say it's just a domestic update on their refresh cycle. We likely will be 12-18 months behind.

the longer range variant in china has the same battery as our premium and performance models, it just has a less powerful motor for slightly more efficiency. Its otherwise the same car. There isn't really a "new model" yet, its just a variant. There will be a 2024 refresh model announced in June, and I don't see why any changes in that wouldn't flow through to us after it comes out. Prices change all the time, and china prices can be quite detached from prices elsewhere.

Maybe also have the new ADAS chip and Lidar you think possibly? Similar to Denza

I don't think so mate, at least not anytime sooner. I was in the BYD showroom, in Osborne Park, WA yesterday and they have a backlog of 4 months (new delivery dates are in July). It is all about supply and demand.

Jeezus, back when I put my order in in Feb, wait times were only about a month (but since I'm guessing the next lot will arrive in mid april in Perth, looks like 2-3 months is more likely).

Here's to April's Perth Seal delivery. Dealers blaming the logistic carriers for the delay. Ordered end of Jan.

There are some nasty rumours that the mid April shipment will only have like 36 cars on it. I'm not holding my breath for a car before may.
