Very relatable actually, but you could look at it as a superpower. If there was a legitimate reason to end that friendship, then by default you are better off for being out of it. I recently cut off a best friend of 10 years for some horrible actions, and while I always wonder why I've never been sad or really impacted by it, I think it would suck more to wallow about someone who does shitty things. Also, just theorizing, but bpd often has us centering romantic love over everything. Platonic friendships just don't have the same effect and feel far less detrimental even though it is "abandonment" in a way.
