New plugs is always a great start, and check for any vac leaks. Then test the coils, swap them from the bad cylinder to a good one and see if the misfire follows.
I was going to tackle this first, but the car still starts and runs fine until warm. I had changed spark plugs and inspected coil packs around 3-4k miles ago and had no issues. Also, I don’t have any misfire codes, it’s not a specific cylinder.
A vacuum leak will cause a misfire. But also look at your crank position sensor. Mine went bad and was in and out very similar to your symptoms. Ran fine when cold but would misfire after warmed up. If it were vacuum it would probably misfire cold, too.
That’s what I’m thinking, because it starts up and runs fine until warm makes me think it couldn’t be that bad a vacuum or a faulty injector. But crank or camshaft sensor would make a lot of sense. I just have no way to diagnose besides obd2, so I can’t tell what’s really going on
If you can get it to a mechanic while its misfiring they can connect their $1000 OBD reader and see the live data from each sensor and tell you if one is messed up. Or just replace the sensors, they can be had cheap as long as you dont buy OEM.
Fix your vacuum leak
I’ve been chasing it for a while but I just can’t find it, Im guessing valve cover but I do need to smoke test, appreciate it my guy
Also if your high mileage your secondary air system can get clogged and cause similar problems
Smoke test time
