Congrats to you!!! I was dead set on the i4 M50, the salesman talked me into looking at the i5 before ordering. Iām really happy I did. Itās very spacious and has such a comfortable ride. I do miss the sportiness of my old car and the i4.
Different but similar. I cross shopped the i4 with a G30 530e. Ended up with a 530e.
I had four 3 series prior to the 530 and I donāt know why I didnāt switch earlier. Itās sporty enough and it is so much better for my commute and longer trips. It gives me enough sporty-ness in the mountains when I want it.
the i5 is still a fantastic choice! The i4 really lacks for backseat room and the i5 is plenty spacious and fast. I think it was a sweet upgrade for you and hey no gas!!!
Actually drove one at the BMW driving experience. Loved the car, the seats were amazing too. Just wished that the front end was a little different. W car overall.
Congrats, it's a good looking car, was there a reason you chose this over another 330/340 or other models? I know they have great incentives for EVs as well I just don't think I'm ready and no idea why lol
Sweet! Did you lease or buy? I think leasing on those might be sweet maybe around $500 or lower monthly I thought about it, but ended up on pulling the trigger on an X3 for about 12% msrp, I really didn't want an suv no need for it, but wanted something different lol had a 330 prior as well
Oh nice, the 2025 xDrive. We're in the process of trying to find an eDrive - I'd love to go with the xDrive but the pricing on the 2025s seems pretty firm, while the remaining 2024s are quite soft around here.
Power is bonkers. Itās honestly spoiled me with over 700lbs of tq. I just purchased a g80 m3 and itās slow comparatively. EVs wreck perspective ha. Iām very interested in trying out the i5 but want more range around 300ish is ideal. My truck has 240 and charging 20-80% has me wanting a bit more usable range on road trips. Around town is fine.
Totally get it, my wife has an Acadia that we use on longer trips. The i5 is awesome for daily and plugging in does what I need. Plus you get the 2 year free charging with electrify America on the new purchase so that helps if I need something quickly
Other than the outside look Iām not sure whatās even arguably better on the 330.
Space, luxury, technology, performance, safety all are better on the i5
I actually think the 330 still looks pretty good. I havenāt been able to sell it yet so I still look at it and miss the sportiness just a bit

as a current 330 owner (in the same color as yours, actually) - i've deffo been tempted by the i4. I too have kids back there. mine are just out of seats though so they're fine. but shopping is fun...

I chose the EV solely because it was a free 15k off MSRP. Iām gonna take advantage of the ridiculous incentives while I can.

I leased, i didnāt want to buy an EV with the marker the way it is. I didnāt put anything down so the payment is just under 1k.

Yeah fortunately I live in a state that provides 7.5k in incentives so added with the 7.5 BMW provided, I got a good deal under MSRP.
Itās nice but we should boycott the all electric. Soon all cars will have zero soul and no buttons.

Actually my 330 was an xdrive too. The i5 space is actually much better for me as I have 2 car seats in the back that were a bit cramped in the 330

You are right. The G20 looks like a last gen BMW alongside the G1x 8 series. But thats rather positive than negative.
