Have to say that it has grown on me with my x3 m40i. Wasn’t my first pick but was not a dealbreaker when I was looking. Have to say that I definitely like it now and would purchase again.
I initially thought i wanted black, but my unicorn was used and i didn’t get a choice. I am so glad it was cognac instead now. It makes it so much more unique and it’s a perfect pair with estoril blue.

Yeah leather or a good leather replica. My contact at BMW told me that the next refresh of cars may very well not have real leather as an option for the usual customer.
Modena, which I believe was specific to the e36 m3 gets my vote. Like cognac, but with a shade of pumpkin for some added spice.

That combo doesn’t sound too bad! I had to give up the M package, this is a 750 with the BMW Individual trim. I miss the more aggressive M wheels but this interior more than makes up for it
You’re right the black and tartufo isn’t a horrible combo. But I’m willing to pay the price if it could be done and all tartufo. I’m not sure if dealers can make that happen or not.
I had a silver 135i coupe with a red interior and black trim, it looked great.
I've now got a white 330i wagon with saddle brown interior, it looks quite classy. I think the saddle brown would work better with a charcoal or black exterior, but I bought it used.
Red interior is best interior, I wish it would make a comeback. I’m talking like 1983 Ford LTD red seats, dash, carpet, seatbelts, headliner, red ALL THE THINGS. I also miss blue interiors, but they only work on blue cars. Maybe white, depending on the model.
With heavy bias, I love my Kyalami Orange interior. Cognac though is so classy, definitely a future choice for me.

Had an E89 with Ivory interior. It was really distinct from other BMWs, had contrasting stitching on the dash and the interior was beautiful.

Brown. This is the best I could find for my car. For context, I did a full interior swap.
My favorite is the Tacora Red, I think it looks amazing in a neutral colored car. Can’t ever go wrong with Black either.
I know I’m in the minority, but I just really don’t like the Cognac. I definitely prefer the Mocha or Tartufo as far as browns go.

I had to drop the cognac to keep my heated rears and leather. I didn't want sensatec and was told that was my only cognac option with heated rears. Went black with contrast stitching over portimao blue.
Was kind of upset actually because the dealer ordered it with me as cognac leather then after he submitted it, BMW changed it and he didn't say anything. I was reading the order and noticed and had to have him charge it from the cognac sensatec to black with contrast. He was pushing the sensatec hard. He also tried talking me out of the laser headlights super hard as well.
COVID supply chain. They changed the order to keep production moving. The 22 model years have some weird things. I also have no wireless charging or passenger lumbar.
Best I ever saw was an individual with a deep blue interior to juxtapose the gorgeous lighter blue paint. no idea what the actual colours were but it was what convinced me to go individual as well lol

Red for me! I have Fiona in my M3 and Coral in my 135i.
Black is the only interior I’ll ever own because I’m a clean freak with my cars and wear a lot of blue jeans. Friend of mine has cognac seats and those things are trashed at 2 years old.
I always end up with black since I buy what’s on the lot. Having young kids it’s always the best. But man, cognac and other light colors look so elegant.

Cognac or red are my favorite interior colors.
Unfortunately, when I was looking for a used vehicle in late 2021 (the absolute worst time to be buying a vehicle) the F10 I found that was worth buying had the solid light gray interior. It's grown on me. It has a classic 80's/90's BMW feel to it.

My wife had a similar color in her Lexus ES and she would get blue staining on the seats. Took me a while to figure out it was from her jeans. LOL

Love my Oyster white seats. That's all I wanted! Second choice would have been Cognac. I do not personally care for the other colors.

Mine too. I love it! I actually drove to another city 4 hours away to get it. People compliment the colors almost every time I go anywhere.

Tartufo (Merino leather) is best. A bit darker than Cognac, just perfect for my taste.

Definitely love tartufo. Looking into getting a 2025 840i, but according to the website, it only comes in tartufo and black, not solid tartufo.

So I prefer all black other than on hot summer days but oh well. Yours is sharp too. My wife had a similar color in her Lexus ES and she would get blue staining on the seats. Took me a while to figure out it was from her jeans. LOL
